I bought one for my mom as a gift, she is a CD lover and this CD player boombox works great for her. The CDs spin very fast and the CD drive is not too loud. The sound is very loud and clear, the sound quality is definitely not the same as a professional player, but in my mom's words - this CD player is fantastic. When you're bored, you can listen to the radio, talk shows, news, etc. Another feature of this radio is that it can be used during power outages as long as you have batteries on hand. This is a boombox portable cd player. All functions can be easily controlled from the front. There are also fm radio, bluetooth, USB, AUX and headphone jacks. The buttons are sensitive and I was pleasantly surprised that it takes only a second to turn on the device, which is not the case with other types of CD players. The shape is cartoonish and you can clearly see the two large speakers, like a pair of big eyes. The sound quality is excellent and perfect for taking outdoors, as our family likes to do when we go camping, have a little BBQ together, listen to some music, and really enjoy that life. This cd player boombox doesn't need to be plugged in all the time, it plays on batteries outdoors, and indoors you have the option of an outlet with a variety of power options, which suits me just fine. ... show more
