I needed a body cam at work- I had an incident where I was accused of something I did not do or say. Nothing serious, but I don't like being accused of something I didn't do. I figured I have a dash cam for my own protection- why not the same concept for me when I have to support customers or users? This body cam is compact, but not completely stealthy. It's not really hidden, but that's not the intent of this camera- I don't think it's supposed to be viewed as a "spy camera". It's fairly unobtrusive though. Most official use of a body cam my law enforcement has the camera mounted front and center on their vest, and it's not hidden at all. The camera comes with a 64GB micro-SD card, and can handle up to 128GB. I haven't tested to see how much video I can put on the camera... my guess it that I can get about 200 minutes of continuous video with a 128GB card. This camera picks up a lot of noise from rubbing on your clothes when worn in a pocket (like in my example picture). You can adjust microphone sensitivity in the camera settings... it defaults to '5', I have mine set on '6' (scale from 1-10). The video zoom is electronic. It defaults to wide angle. You can adjust to your needs. The physical camera lens can be rotated from one side of the camera to the other. All in all, if you need a conspicuous (but unobtrusive) body cam, this unit works very well. ... show more

    • Pretty decent little camera
I was surprised at how small this is when I first opened it up. Not a bad thing though as it just makes it easier to put on. It can be clipped in place or put into a front pocket or some kind of holder (doesn't come with one). I had to read through the manual to figure out how to work it, but once I understood it was pretty easy to operate. It came with a 64gb sd card which the display says can hold over 6 hours of video. I didn't test the capacity but it did record a couple hours as part of my daily commute. The video is pretty good and sound was fine. About as good as most action cam YouTube videos I see anyway. The video does have a slight fisheye effect to it though but I expected this. There camera can be flipped around so you can film front or back or in between. There is a button to flip the video if you do this during mid record. It has a mode to record video or just audio also. My main complaint on this would be that in order to record you have to slide a physical button and then slide back to stop. This isn't very convenient if you have it tucked away somewhere like inside a motorcycle jacket and you're wearing gloves. Other than that it does a good job. ... show more

It’s nice to have a body cam for any kind of site survey or recording of an individual’s experience in many given circumstances. What stands out about this little body cam is the rotatable camera lens, making it very versatile in its ability to record video in multiple orientations. The other valuable feature that this unit has is a small video screen on the back for identifying files and viewing options. This unit is small, easy to conceal, and the controls are simple and straightforward in operation. There are some other cool features like motion detection for setting it up in a space and having it record if someone activates the motion detection on it. The included 64GB Micro SD card is a large storage capacity for footage, and then easily transferred to a Mac/PC with the included USB card reader adapter.     • Amazingly small, yet records great video
This is much smaller than I thought it would be (which is a good thing). It will easily fit in a breast pocket with the lens just peeking out. The lens is highly adjustable so you can easily rotate it to point down, straight forward or up or anywhere in between -- you can even rotate the lens so it's facing backwards. The screen is bright and vibrant so you can confirm you're recording the video you want. There are lots of options for adjusting the recording. And you can take single shots, too, which is handy and saves time so you don't have to extract photos later from the video you've shot. You can turn off the screen while recording. It even has a motion detection feature (only starts recording after it sees motion) -- so you can use it as a kind of improvised security camera -- for example at a campsite.
