These antennas are surprising. The build seems good and the SWR results were consistent on both bands. I'm using them on a HT and with my wideband receiver both are Yaesu products. The radios are performing as good as with the stock antennas. I was a little confused regarding the power ratings. This listing states 20W but the packaging it came in states 50W. This "whip" antenna is stiffer than I expected, having previously used 19" whips for my HT. But I'm sold on this: I connected it to a network analyzer, and the SWR for the ham 2m and 70cm bands is less than 1.5, as advertised. The quality of the antenna is evident. Connection point is strong (I got the BNC version), finish is clean. This product was recommended to me by another, more experienced ham, and I tell you what: this is a great HT antenna.
