I purchased this when I was in college to save money on waxing appointments (eyebrows, armpits, lips, legs, etc). I STILL have not used up all of the wax this came with and have waxes my eyebrows at least one a month for two years!!!! I seriously can't believe people don't always wax at home. I bought more popsicle sticks for $5 or so but otherwise I'm still using everything this kit came with. The pot heats up quickly but isn't too hot, and the wax can be re-melted if you don't use it all. I seriously CANNOT recommend this enough. I bought this so I could avoid awkward bikini waxing appointments. I have been overall content with this purchase and the kit comes with everything you need to try waxing at home. You have to be careful when regulating the temperature of the wax because it can get too hot very easily and it takes a while to cool back down. I’m am no pro when it comes to waxing,but this waxing kit is very easy to use.The wax is easy to get off if you have some excess wax on your skin. I’ve been a cosmetologist for 10 years. I wanted to try something new and save money on products. I tried this out and I’m satisfied. I was nervous because of how low the pot was after adding to packets of the beads. I’m also very sensitive to everything. I used the manufacturers instructions but set the wax warmer to the lowest recommended setting (150). It wasn’t too hot and a little goes a long way. I just cleansed the area with a natural baby wipe, let it dry, then sprayed the pre-wax spray that came with the kit. After that dried I applied the was directly to my skin in the direction of the hair growth in a thin layer. I appreciate the metal bar over the wax so that I can clean one side of the applicator and not waste so much product. As a professional, I am satisfied and will continue to use this product. The shipping was great too. ONLY thing I wish is that there were more options for purchasing the wax beads separately. I may add a video next time, but I feel like there’s already enough pics and photos from other reviewers. ... show more

    • Wax warmer isn't getting hot sadly.

We've tried unplugging this warmer and playing around but it doesn't warm up hot enough to melt the wax even when it's turned all the way up. Really frustrated as this was a birthday gift and I know she was really looking forward to using it. The set is nice and it comes with a lot but the warmer is just a fail. We tried using the wax beads it comes with in an old warmer and it didn't remove the hair as well as it should. Already ordered another wax warmer kit from a different company so hopefully that one doesn't let her down. I got this one on a lightning sale and only paid 33 bucks so not terrible but now with ordering a different kit im out about 75 bucks. I think this kit may be a hit or miss just depends on luck because others had good reviews and some had really bad. Tried to get product support and help but I guess there isn't any help.
