This tie has good quality overall. It also seems pretty durable. From a distance, it appears to be the right length for my teen, however, the back of the tie is so very short that it cannot tuck into the flap on the back of the main tie.

This tie looks nice when worn and you can't tell that it is not constructed in a traditional manner. However, the zipper is actually quite annoying and not user friendly. Nevertheless, for a guy, such as my teenage son, who never wears ties, it's a great option. He wore it to his Junior Prom with a vest (all the rage now), and we added a tie tack. The tie looked sleek, smart, and sophisticated. He received many compliments on his outfit. Best of all, I don't know how to tie a tie, so this one solved a problem for me. I've been using pre-tied ties for most of my life. Yes, I know how to tie a tie. But when I'm rushing to get out the door, why would I spend the time to tie a tie when a can grab a "clip on" or similar? It's just so much more convenient. This tie has a "zipper" loop that goes around your neck. You can adjust the diameter of the loop, and then press down the zipper head and it will lock in place. The tie itself is very nice looking, with nice colors. You wouldn't mistake it for a fine silk tie, but I find that now nobody looks at that. I was initially disappointed with the look of this tie. It looks like a cheap tie, and at 5'8" it is just barely long enough for me. The look is acceptable for the price, but don't expect to impress anyone. The real problem for me was when I initially put it on to try it out immediately after it arrived. After I determined it wasn't a very nice tie, I tried to take it off. It was stuck and wouldn't "unzip" to come off. I played with it for a few minutes to try to get out of it, and it ended up coming apart. Straight to the trash from there. ... show more

It fits as I would have expected however, the zipper sticks. I am guessing that it is just a little off because sometimes it is really hard to move it. The first time it happened I thought I was going to have to cut it off but I was able to get it to unzip with some pliers. If the zipper worked better it would be perfect. ... show more

This tie makes getting ready a snap! Takes literally two seconds to put this tie on and you cannot tell it is a zipper tie because the knot is high quality! Great colors and good quality! Great find!

There is no way this tie is for men, they must have mislabeled it in the title. I could not even get this over my head and it's far too short for a full grown adult. Luckily it's a good size for my son, so he can wear it for his upcoming elementary school graduation. It does look nice and is super easy to put on, it's just clearly for children. ... show more
