I've had it about a month. My sister's cat moved in with us and I'm mildly allergic to cats. I really wanted something that would keep the fur off the furniture and this works like a charm. They gave it a good name because that's what it is....A pet fur eraser. Have not had any problem with it. It's durable, easy to empty the dust bin, not very loud, exceptional suction. Absolutely love it! All of the other rave reviews had me sold. I’ve went through many different brands and none of them last, are hard to clean, lose battery power and won’t charge ( I’ve even replaced batteries) get hair stuck in the roller and won’t spin etc. I have fluffy cats and dogs who love hanging out on my couch and I clean it off every morning so we don’t go to work or school covered in hair. This vacuum makes it’s a breeze, it’s quicker for me now, it’s lightweight and really gets the hair the 1st time. I loved it so much I went around vacuuming all my rugs just to keep testing it. I recently purchased a CatGuru Cat Litter Mat here on Amazon (Love it, highly recommend) and need something less cumbersome than my upright vacuum to clean it. I did some research and decided on this make/model for a cordless handheld vacuum. It arrived today and did a great job pulling the litter out of that 'shag rug' litter mat. It has good suction so I was able to run it along the floor to pick up the litter that was there without having to hold it against the floor. (If you have cats, you know there will always be a trail of litter, no matter how good the mat is at trapping it.) The dirt bin was easy to empty and reattach. It has good balance and is not heavy. I haven't tried the attachments yet, so don't know how it works at pulling cat fur off the furniture. Since I just received it, I can't speak to how long a charge lasts.     • Nice Handheld Vacuum - Needs longer Battery Life
This thing is great! I have a Persian Maincoon cat who sheds like no other and this vacuum help prevent me from having to bring out the larger floor vacuum. Also not just for pet hair, but can be used for picking up crumbs and other minor messes. My only gripe is the lack of battery life. I feel as if it only puts out about 10-15 min of use before it needs to be plugged in again, and a full charge takes HOURS. For the amount that I need to use it, I wish I didn't have to plug it in after each use. So for that, it loses a star. ... show more

I’ve tried the cheaper ones, that just don’t cut it. This Bissell is literally the best hand held vac I’ve ever owned. It has the strongest power and battery life is good. I now own two of them (one for upstairs and one for downstairs) because we use it so much - cobwebs, dust in corners, pet hair, sucking up moths and bugs. It’s the best! Bought this in 2018 and still just great for the large amount of dog hair from our dogs. It gets everything and easy, also good for sucking up bugs that sneak in since we live by the lake. Was going to replace it with a more expensive shark handheld since the charging cord broke, but after this popping up again next to it just repaired the cord and going great again! This is the third handheld vacuum I've tried to pick up dog hair and it's the winner! It WORKS! Period. End of story. It's powerful and lasts a long time before I have to charge it again. I love it! It's super light weight so I can use it with one hand. Dog hair on the bed? Gone! Dog hair on the couch? Gone. Dog hair collecting in the corners? Gone! I had been gifted one of these when I got married and I was blown away at how easy this hand vacuum is to use and how well it sucks up pet hair! I bought one for my mother and her cat who is known to shed everywhere and she's found it to be a huge help as well! The battery life is excellent and charging is simple.
