I love this little machine for my random carpet/couch/pet/toddler stains. It really works well, esp on newer stains. It is easy to use and pretty portable. My main complaint is that it's hard to rinse out the two liquid containers on either side. I rinse them with water after use but the area to drain the water is not at the bottom so it's really hard to get all the water out and there is an annoying puddle that sits inside (I just want it dry so there is no mold build up when i store it away all assembled together). I'm also a little confused that the sprayer is only washing liquid and no water rinse so you just keep washing/suctioning but it seems like nothing really rinses it at the end? But there is no indication to do this and hey it works so that's ok! ... show more

So I have a mattress. I didn't have a mattress cover. You should always put one on. I was feeling pretty lazy. And a rough spot in life. Anyway I just hated coming home to a brown stained mattress eew. So I looked what could remedy this issue. This product came along. Decided to give it a go. Later package arrived; opened and read the instructions. Let me tell you this thing cleans pretty well. I preferred the bottle of the oxy that came in the box. Brown stains were be lifted out of that old mattress. Needs a few more treatments though. The only negative is that it will make you mattress wet for awhile. It'll take about 8 hours to dry. For better sanitized effect a uvc ozone light bar will fresh up the room. But 1st use will smell like strong bleach so open up the windows. ... show more

    • My carpet definitely looks better
I have cats who from time to time, decide to get sick and throw up on my bedroom carpet. Thank goodness nobody mistakes the carpet for the litter box! Over the years, I’ve tried a variety of products that claim to clean up pet messes. Some have helped a little, but some have made an even bigger mess. You know what I mean. They make you think the area is clean but within a few days, the carpet shows a big dingy dark spot where you cleaned up the mess. I was just about at the point where I was ready to tear out the carpet, but decided to give the Bissell little green pro a try. I pretreated several areas of the carpet first, then went back in and scrubbed/vacuumed up the areas. I was really impressed with the amount of filth that the Bissell pulled up from my carpet! Just remember to hold the scrubber tool upright so you get full suction power when vacuuming up the treated area. If you get lazy and hold the tool at an angle, it will lose suction and won’t vacuum properly. I still have some areas to work on and some of the original spots that I already treated will need to be cleaned again - it’s a work in progress. But I’m so happy with how much better the carpet already looks. As an added plus, the Bissell was easy to use, easy to clean, and best of all, light weight enough to move around on the carpet. This cleaner did a great job cleaning and removing stains on my carpet from my senior daschund. Great price and it does a wonderful job of cleaning in a very short time.

    • Breaks very easily
First I'd like to mention that I am a foster for the Humane Society and our cleaning machines are put to the test very regularly. I have purchased this machine a few years ago and I remembered that I didn't have it for very long, I couldn't remember why though. So after my Little Green Machine gave up and needed replacement, I figured I'd give this one a shot since it's a little easier to clean. Well, now I remember why I didn't have it very long: The hoe breaks very easily and it is leaking heavily from the bottom, and it's not the clean water. Yes, it was assembled properly, everything was cleaned and handled with care. The machine is now spraying the nasty water all in the air and leaks the rest out the bottom, and it was the exact same problem with the previous machine. It could be a great cleaner if those issues would be resolved. Long story short, this machine is not worth your money, rather get the Little Green Machine from Bissell and save yourself the headache and money. ... show more
