I admit that when I bought this I didn’t have very high expectations. I had heard these vent fans don’t work very well but these had a major impact on the bedroom I used them in. My bedroom gets the most sun of any part of the house in the summer and it is at the end of the duct system so the airflow is weaker. It is always 2-3 degrees warmer than what the thermostat reads for the rest of the house, no matter how much I turned the fan on or the temperature down. I installed two of these in the room and after that the temperature was 1 degree lower than the rest of the house which makes a hige difference. In addition to the temperature impact, I was really happy that these came on black to match the rest of my vents. They look great and have a good quality feel to them. Easy to install and the wire isn’t that noticeable on carpet. It has 10 speed levels and I usually keep it at 5. After that you notice the sound but it’s no worse than any other fan. I bought 1 product to see if it would make a difference in the air flow going to our upstairs room. (We have a 2 story home where it is hard to regulate the air flow to our bedrooms upstairs). Let me just say it made a HUGE difference! Our bedrooms now are about the same temperature as the rest of the home, within a few degrees. It has made such a huge difference in sleeping comfortably at night! We were so impressed that I bought a register for every room upstairs!! Also, the customer service is top notch! (There was nothing wrong with the item, just an opportunity to purchase more fans at a discounted price.) They are also super easy to install and use.
