    • Excellent gun safe
First, it's obvious the seller pays attention to detail and quality. The rifle case arrived extremely well packaged in high density foam, secure and in perfect condition. The safe weighs about 80 lbs so is easy enough to move but not so easy to walk away. The biometric features work perfect - the fingerprint lock is easy to program and works flawlessly. The safe has 2 sets of keys to open the safe in case of emergency from the outside and also to open the inner lock box. I am extremely happy with the quality of the product, especially at this price point. There are 3 ways to open the safe (a digital code that needs to be reprogrammed, a fingerprint lock and a hard key) - all easy to program. The safe comes preprogrammed with 2 codes - both need to be reset to avoid someone coming along and hitting the factory set "111" or "123" access codes. The safe itself is on the tall, thin side but seems stable. I plan to use the supplied bolts to secure to the wall. I will need to add a light for inside the safe as it's difficult to fully see inside. I do not believe this safe would be characterized as "heavy duty" but definitely suits my purpose to keep my guns in a safe location that is not easily accessible to outsiders. I really love this safe and very happy with my purchase. My wife thought I spent more than double the price I actually did based on the quality of the product. Well done.     • Perfect for us
I was looking for a smaller, reasonable safe to hold just a shotgun, rifle, and accessories at a river house in the mountains of West Virginia. I didn't need anything too large, or too super heavy duty, and it was important to have multiple ways to access the safe. This was perfect for me. With the box weighing in around 90 pounds, I could handle it myself if needed and it was easy to get in place in the chosen location. It came with heavy duty bolts and pre-drilled holes to secure it against the wall. The included bolts, as best I can tell, require access to the other side of the wall for mounting. I actually don't have that access, so instead of the included bolts I subbed in some heavy duty screws and anchors I had lying around without any problem. It's deep enough and tall enough to fit perfectly in place in a closet, while able to hold the long guns, one with a scope. The fingerprint reader was a little 'hinky' in getting my prints initially established. I was unable to scan the same finger more than once to account for different angles. But the good trade-off was the ability to store up to 100 different prints, which I used liberally. The reader definitely recognizes and responds to prints fast. The buttons to set a code are a bit tight together, but they're responsive. The ability to set up to a 9 digit code is useful for extra security, especially with only 3 numerals that can be included. (With up to 9 digits, this still allows up to 19,683 possible codes, so it's not "insecure" by any means.) It definitely seems sturdy and thick enough for most use cases, though of course it isn't going to be THE BEST EVER. If you have a collection of tens of thousands of dollars worth of long guns, maybe this won't give you the full piece of mind you'd want. (But if you had that collection, you could probably afford top-top-top of the line in cabinet too.) All in all, a great product for what I needed. ... show more

    • Excellent Product and Customer Service!!!
We received the safe quicker than the expected Delivery Date! The quality of this safe is superb for the cost! Lots of space! You must bolt it down to the ground to secure it and in addition using some wall anchors for the back will make it even more secure.(I purchased "fliptoggle" bolts/anchors from HomeDepot for the back) The included hardware is great for the installation into concrete at the bottom. FYI all holes need to be drilled a bit further to 1/2" to get the included hardware/toggle bolts to fit.(just use a good metal bit for your drill very easy to do) I am so happy I purchased this safe, there are many online to choose from, and this one without a doubt was definitely the best in terms of quality/space for the money! The BioMetric system is awesome and the instructions were extremely easy to follow! Customer Service is amazing, I spoke to Alan and he was very helpful answering my questions. In addition, I asked if they still had the promotion going on for the free door organizer and Alan sent one over to me within a week! He also mentioned that he would assist me with any future needs. This is a GREAT product with excellent customer service! I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality and economical safe! ... show more
