Okay so I ordered 2 other pistol safes and neither fit my nightstand drawer so I sent them back. They were okay but not great. I received this safe and it was just a little too tall for the drawer as well….however I was so impressed with the weight, finish and features ( and being a woodworker) I modified the drawer opening so I could fit the safe! It is larger than most. I can fit my full size pistol with 2 mags easily. Easy to program, fingerprint works great and the lid opens quickly, quietly and vertical. Overall it is a nice safe and solid. We are able to fit two hand guns a four mags very snuggly . The electronic combination works well. Caution that if you put in the combination incorrectly three times it will make you wait to try again. My complaints are that the fingerprints don’t work for me. I have small fingers and dry skin. Not sure if that is a factor. It will work for me when I reset it for a couple times and then fails. My husband’s prints work even though he has dry hands. My other complaint is that when the safe door pops open it is very loud. The safe mounts nicely to the top of our nightstand. I would buy it again because all the safes I looked at seem to have issues with the biometrics. ... show more

Nicely built. Very easy to setup and use. Up to 20 fingerprint memory. Illuminated buttons and fingerprint scanner. Able to mute sound if wanted. Has a small LED light inside that turns on automatically when opened. Quality product to say the least.

    • Check The Keys As Soon As You Get It Part 2
Purchased the safe several months prior to purchasing the handgun to go into it. So, finally have that and went to set up the safe. They send 2 keys. One worked, the other one is mis-cut and can not be fully inserted into the key slot . Waiting for a reply from TSS to see if I can get another key to replace the defective one. Part 2 - TSS declined to replace the key under warranty but I was able to purchase a new one from them that works perfectly. Everything works perfectly. The biometric print scanner never misses and no one else has been able to open the safe with their fingerprint. So, key aside , I highly recommend this unit. ... show more

Reliable and very easy to set up! took me 2 minutes to set it all up and I'm not tech-savvy at all. Has a great weight to it, quality, but not too heavy which is great on the back. Already recommended it to a few friends and family and they've all been happy with it.
