  • Helped stop PS5 mic echo.
Color: Black/Red
I've got a group of gamer friends that I occasionally chat with on PlayStation chat party. On my PS4, I just used a cheap, corded headset that had a TRRS plug that plugged into the PS4's controller. Late last December, I half-heartedly ordered a PS5 via Sony's website and to my shock, received a PS5 a few days later. The console's been great, but the most prevalent issue I've had with it is the controller's set up. The PS5's controller has a built-in microphone and speaker. For one, I am hard of hearing so my friends' voices through the tiny, tinny sounding speaker are barely audible to me. For another, every friend in chat has bluntly commanded me to stop using the controller's mic; I sound terrible through it, apparently. I simply went back to my old, corded headset. However, friends regularly balked that I had an annoying "echo" caused by the PS5. The issue is, when you disable the PS5's controller mic, you disable the input ring of the PS5's TRRS jack. In other words, disable the controller mic, you disable the corded headset mic as well. So, I couldn't eliminate my pesky echo via software settings. I decided to splurge and get a cordless headset. Initially, I wanted a headset that didn't need a Bluetooth dongle, seeing as the PS5 supports Bluetooth devices.... ....So long as said devices aren't speakers or microphones. So, yeah, I wound up needing the dongle that this headset comes with. Having gone through all this, I can say that this headset has easily paired to the dongle every time I've used it, and I get clear audio from my PS5. Battery life seems respectable, though I am very cautious about keeping it charged, so I can't say I've pushed the limits in this regard. Finally, yes, this headset did away with my echo issue. Although... This headset has caused confusion among me and my friends. To me, my friends voices sound a tiny bit different. Our clan leader's voice now has a slightly gravelly undertone to me that I haven't heard before. A female friend's voice sounds a little more squeaky than usual. And my British friend that has a very deep voice now sounds even more bassy to me. All of these friends I've mentioned, among others, all say that I sound differently. None of them will specify how though and all of them claim there's a slight reverb to my voice now. So, none of us are able to discern if this headset's speakers and mic are providing higher or lower quality audio to all of us. Despite all this, my friends seem relieved that my echo is gone now, and while I'm not a fan of plugging in the dongle, powering this headset up, and waiting for them to pair, I very much enjoy not being tethered to my controller, so it's a tradeoff I'm willing to take. Finally, I have a very elliptically shaped head (I shave my head, that's how I know) and my ears, as far as I'm concerned, are properly proportioned to my head. I have no fitment issues with this headset and can comfortably wear it for hours on end. So, if you want a wireless, over the ear headset, be it for a reason like mine or other and don't want to spend hundreds on a name brand set, this one seems to be a good value. ... show more

  • A Very Good and Versatile Headset
Color: Black/Red
I bought this headset because my new tablet does not have an audio jack. Most headsets that have a microphone have only one earpiece. Headsets that are made for game players have two. This headset works exceptionally well on Bluetooth. I can go anywhere in the house and out into the yard without losing connection. It also has a transmitter dongle for older computers that do not have Bluetooth. That works very well, also. Finally, it comes with a standard 3.5 mm connector cord, in case neither of the wireless options work. It has a built-in rechargeable battery with a USB-C charging port. The sound quality is excellent. It does not have noise cancellation, but its construction provides very good sound isolation. ... show more

  • Sensitive mic
Color: Black/Red
It's an alright headset. It does what it's supposed to do. It's got good battery life. Sound quality is pretty good, wouldn't say it's top tier or anything, but it's pretty good. My only complaint is the mic on it. It's so sensitive that it can pic up the humming sound of my mini-fridge sometimes. When playing games with my friends, they'd always tell me I was super loud or that I need to stop breathing so loud. The mic wasn't close to my face or anything and it sounded like a tornado to them, especially when I have my fan on. And there's no way to turn the mic sensitivity down. ... show more

  • Great Quality
Color: Black/Red
He was concerned about quality because of the price but not only is it worth the price, the quality actually exceeds the price. No problems so far. The headphones are wireless and work with a usb. They stay charged a few hours. No problems hearing partners or them hearing him. Would buy again.

  • Good sound and noise cancellation - mic has been an issue after a couple months
Color: Black/Red
The sound quality and noise cancellation of this headset is great. Comfort level is pretty good, they sometimes feel a little heavy but I also haven’t really tried other headsets to compare to. My only issue has been the mic, after a few months of use I have been experiencing some pretty bad static/echoing. The issue goes away after turning the headset on and off a couple times but it seems to be getting noticeably worse and more frequent. Hoping customer service will reach out and help resolve the issue. ... show more

  • 4.5/5 Good Value Headset
Color: Black/Red
For the price, these are solid. Overall not great: I would like to hear my own voice in the headphone’s audio, there is not much bass overall, occasional syncing issues, and the range is limited — loses audio feed when I’m in another room. However, these hold a charge for a LONG time. I rarely have to charge them. They’re pretty comfortable and the ear pads are a good size. Friends say my voice comes through clear and it plays back clean on video. These aren’t the best headphones, but they are pretty good for the price. ... show more

  • Good overall wireless headset with some cavets
Color: Black/Red
I bought this as a replacement for a wired USB headset and so far after a week or so, it does the job pretty well. Pros: -It just works: No need for any setup, you just plug the USB receiver it comes with into your PC and power the headset on. -Good wireless range: You can wear this thing several rooms away and still maintain a wireless connection with no quality loss. I imagine this can vary though but worth taking advantage of. Cons: -The microphone is TOO sensitive: Whenever the headset plays an alert (muting the mic, low battery, etc.), the microphone picks it up. Had a few people startled by this in Discord calls and wish there was a way to fix this issue. -No way to check how much charge is left on the battery. I have gotten used to charging it every 2-3 days. You just have to hope it doesn't start playing the low-battery alert during a call. -Cannot use headset wired on PC when the battery runs out. You must have it charged or it won't work at all even when wired. ... show more
