We just put up our new outdoor umbrella. It was the perfect color we were looking for to match our front porch furniture. Dark Teal is not a common color. The umbrella surprisingly is fairly light but super sturdy. It is easy to put together. We had our 16 year old assemble it by himself. Don’t forget to attach the solar panel to the wire at the top of the umbrella, or the lights won’t work. It is also easy to maneuver, swivel, open and close, position up or down. I recommend this umbrella for the price. We almost bought another umbrella from Lowe’s for $398. Also buy the weight that recommended for 185 lbs. Our base cost $37 and we filled ours with water. Total cost is $210. We saved quite a lot! ... show more

This is beautiful. It is sturdy. The mechanisms work easily and smoothly. The set-up instructions are clear. I am a 5‘2“, 120-lb, 65-year-old woman and I put it together myself in 40 minutes. One caution: I do NOT recommend opening it up before securing a base over it. That was my only mistake and it tipped over and was difficult to get back up because of the lopsided weight. Cost me a nice gash in my leg and a few well-deserved “what the he!l is she up to now” eye rolls from the neighbors . But my little oasis is almost complete and I’ll bet they’ll be over to enjoy it. ... show more

This is a great umbrella, for non windy days. It has a lot of play in a breeze. Looks great. Does what it is supposed to and is easy to maneuver up down and around. It took us about 30 mins to put together as there were no instructions included. We have an extra peice and we are not sure what it's for! This comes with an umbrella cover. I almost never review products! They generally have to be incredibly bad - so much so that I feel compelled to warn others - or amazingly great to the degree that I feel I have to tell the world. In this case, it is certainly the latter! I nearly spent $600 (sale price) on a similar cantilever umbrella at Costco. But before pulling the trigger on that purchase, I decided to take a look at prices on Amazon. When I saw the $149 price tag, and the long list of great reviews, I figured it was worth giving it a try and saving myself quite a few bucks. I am so glad I did! This product was so easy to assemble and operates flawlessly. I bought it to use as an umbrella over my hot tub and it is the perfect size. I was really impressed by the thoughtful engineering that went into this product. For my purposes, the fact that I could securely screw the base to my deck was a huge plus!     • When it sounds too good to be true...

This purchase reminded me of a lesson I've learned a long time ago: when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I was literally seconds away from buying a different brand(Purple Leaf) that was more than twice the price. Then I saw this umbrella pop up on the bottom as a suggestion. It was approximately 60% less with all the same features( solar led). Over and over, I said to myself this can't be right, but the savings was just too enticing and I abandoned my common sense to take a chance. Assembly wasn't bad but when the wind picked up a little bit, I can tell the material was not going to hold up. At first, I would immediately close it if there was any hint of wind. One day in a rush to close it due to the wind slowly picking up, it bent a little and when I quickly tried to close it, I heard a pop, and it was game over. It lasted approximately 3 months, I went cheap and I paid the price. Here's another old adage: In the end, you get what you paid for. I reached out to the seller, even asked for repair tips and/or options. It's been approximate 4 days. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. ... show more

I am quite impressed by the quality of this umbrella and the price paid! It went together easily and was being used in no time! It seems very sturdy and I like the cover that comes with it. The lights are cute and enjoyed. Overall very pleased.

The umbrella looks great, was super easy to set up and was a perfect match for a mobile stand we bought (Giantex Cantilever Umbrella Base with Wheels, from Amazon). Provides the coverage we need and the ability to spin it without moving the stand is pretty handy. As much as we like the umbrella, we love the companies customer service even more. The box arrived with a hole punched in the side; something must have happened during shipping. Whatever punched into the box cracked a plastic gear cover for the umbrella. We contacted the company and they immediately took care of the problem (despite it not being anything they had control over). It's a great product and the fantastic customer service makes it an easy choice. Highly recommended! ... show more
