This piece was packaged extremely well and came with very clear instructions and nicely packaged hardware. I built this by myself and it took me an hour and a half. The fire place has 4 brightness levels, audible fire crackling sounds, heat setting from 65-82 degrees and a timer to shut it off! I am obsessed with the color of the gray wash and the barn doors that also have a slow shut setting so it’s impossible to slam! It has so much storage and looks sleek! Highly recommend! ... show more

Not too difficult to put together. Little sticky wood faux stickers suck and come off easily. Looks good when done but definitely cheap quality. No issues with fireplace insert works good.

This TV stand looks great in my new living room!! It’s the perfect size for my TV. The fireplace has options for just the lighting of the fireplace on, can add the heat on/off as you want, and has a set timer for up to 8 hours. Don’t mind my bare walls in the picture, I still need to get decor. The only downside is it took me 3.5-4 hours to build this. But I was able to do it alone. Also when you slide in the fireplace, there is its own set of screws in that box that aren’t included in all the other hardware and it doesn’t say in the instructions to put those screws in so I almost missed that step. ... show more

I love this!! I read a lot of reviews on these priced in the $279 range, but chose this more expensive item, when the other reviewers mentioned the less than stellar quality of the cheaper item. I am glad I spent the extra money - totally worth spending $60 more - It is not your typical cheap looking/feeling particle board - I suppose it may be MDF board, which is definitely a step up from regular particle board - It looks really similar to real wood - the storage is good - I was able to get all of my DVDs stored away - I had to double them up, but I am glad they all fit - I have at least 60, if not more, so it has very adequate storage, as i also stored a basket with PlayStation controllers. The fireplace is nice - It makes a bit of a humming sound, but it was not really annoying, and that is coming from someone who cannot tolerate any type of reoccurring or repetitive sounds. I shopped specifically for one of these that had the storage shelf underneath the TV, so that I can keep the DVD player, PlayStation, tiny Comcast box and a small sound bar on it and I still have a little more room - I have a 35 inch TV but this stand could accommodate a much bigger TV and the stand would not seem dwarfed by a bigger sized TV - Get this - You will like it!! ... show more

My fiancé and I put this together in 4 hours. The directions say it should take 2, hahaha. The pieces came extremely well packaged. The best packaging I’ve ever seen, in fact. No pieces were damaged. The directions were easy enough to follow, even though we made a couple mistakes and had to redo a few pieces. The fireplace is gorgeous and the remote for the fireplace is convenient to use. Needs AAA batteries for the remote that are not provided. Highly recommend this TV stand. We will be keeping this piece forever. ... show more
