This clamp is very well made and easy to assemble (you thread the rope through a couple of holes and tie a knot. Attach it to your kayak or canoe and use it to hook up to a tree branch to hold you in place while you catch some fish... great on a windy day. Unlike a traditional anchor, you don't have to drop this in the water and it will not snag on the bottom, and no need to get wet when you pull it in.
