Very nice pillow cases. Fabric is a good weight, color is as pictured. Despite some satin being snag-prone I've yet to see a snag even with cats climbing all over and after several washes. I bought these to help my hair and they seem to be making a positive difference with tangles and breakage. My only complaint is that these are open-ended and because the fabric is slick they can slide up the end of your pillow and bunch up. It would be nice if they zipped instead but at this reasonable price it's a trivial issue. ... show more

I wanted to get some silky/satin pillowcases because I had heard that it is the least damaging material for hair (and I have fragile fair strands). I bought these Bedsure satin pillow cases because of the low price and great reviews and have used them for the past several years. This is my honest review after all this time. First, I am so surprised by how great the price is considering that these are made of a good quality satin material. They hold up well in the regular wash (probably should go in the delicate cycle but I'm lazy). Looks exactly as pictured and feels so nice/smooth on my skin. It also feels cool on the skin which is nice when you flip your pillow over at night. I also heard that satin absorbs less bacteria than standard bedding material. Since I have skin issues (acne prone) this was appealing to me. I can't say that I saw a drastic change in skin, but its nice to know that these are potentially better for my skin than what I was using. I ALSO heard that satin is less harsh on the skin than standard bedding material, so it doesn't pull on the skin as much while you sleep. The idea is that less skin pulling means less future wrinkles but I couldn't tell you if there is any difference in my skin aging. Overall, the potential benefits of satin pillowcases make it worth it to buy a set. I sleep comfortably on these and they have held up really well over the years. I would definitely recommend them.
