Amazon delivered this great cotton quilt, which I immediately washed in cold water, medium cycle, then dried for 20 minutes at medium heat in the dryer. Perfect no-wrinkles comforter and pillow cases. I bought the medium blue, which is a lovely color. It is a queen, so a good fit, and it's light enough to keep you feeling comfortable but not hot. Very soft, too. Being in New England, this quilt should take us into the Fall months, maybe 3-4, so into November, no problem. I highly recommend this cotton quilt, with pillow covers. The California King size fits our Cal King bed all the way down to the floor - more like a bedspread than a quilt. (You wouldn't even need a bed skirt or box spring cover.) First off I absolutely love the size, texture, and color of this quilt. Living in Texas most blankets and quilts can be hot during the summer but this one is especially noticeable. While it is thin, my husband and I routinely kick it off during the night because we are both overheated. I sleep under most blankets but still kick this one off. Super soft & comfy, perfect weight for summer. I was looking specifically for something that felt heavier than a sheet without actually being super warm and this did not disappoint. Just warm enough! The olive green is a gorgeous color. Masks dog fur well (great news during peak shedding!) & doesn't show every little drool spot like some fabrics do, and it washes beautifully. We stayed at a B&B in PA, their quilt was not only beautiful, but also light and comfortable. I also liked the 3-dimensional effect of the quilt, with the puffiness between the stitching. I took a picture of it and ordered one upon my return. Hubby loves it as well. We had been using down duvets prior to it, which meant in the summer, it was hanging off the side of his bed, as it was always too hot for him. I always make my purchases based on reviews. This one didn’t disappoint. I steamed it in my dryer to get the wrinkles out, which there weren’t many. It has a nice feel & it hangs over the bed a good 18 inches so we aren’t pulling the covers off each other. I am very happy with my purchase.
