Make sure the knobs are screwed tight or they will rock forward when using. They aren’t too heavy at all like at all. So if you want to use them for someone who needs beginners or even smaller people/kids/elderly then yes these are perfect. I use for workouts where I need lighter weights. I would say it’s better to splurge on the bigger ones where there’s more weight don’t go cheap because if you really want some heavy sturdy ones then you need to buy the bigger ones! Personally from when getting the package it was in a bit of a rough condition the package that is not the weights themselves, however since product was in perfect shape i didnt mind, however when unboxing the weights the bolts or screws that hold the weights in place were made of plastic and feel cheap in a way but are holding up well. The handle of the weights feel off but get comfortable after a while. As for the connecting bar the only problem for it is having weights in the middle or on the inside like the picture shows can be difficult to use due to your wrist placement. Overall a so far solid product but theres some minor things as well as the smell/coating of the weights when received. ... show more

Three of my weights were busted, with two of them having stuff coming out of them, but it was not done during delivery as they were between other weights and box was not damaged so it was done before packaged.
