First, I received no compensation for this review. I feel this is a well built, quality piece of equipment. I bought for easy exercise, lymphatic activation and drainage, and increased circulation for both my husband and myself. I use mostly by sitting on on it and have found that simple changes in position of arms while holding onto platform triggers different areas on body. Lean a bit forward and you activate your abs, sit straight up and back a bit and you activate your back. Lock arms while holding on to plate and you get shoulders, neck, face and scalp. There are a number of different posions in which you can sit or hold on to to activate different muscle groups. For example, I pull one leg up and lay flat on platform and stretch other leg out to side and it gets inner thighs. I have yet to try all the settings, but am really enjoying this machine. I also find that on a low speed, I can close my eyes and kind of float away in a sort of meditation. I find it very relaxing as it does relax the muscles and eases tension. While not a massage, it accomplishes the same thing. When done I feel calm and energized. I was already losing weight so not sure how much I can attribute to the machine, but I have noticed a reduction in the size of my calves, thighs, arms and abdomen. This could just be activation of lymphatic system and the release of water and garbage. I have also noticed that I am more limber in my joints. There are a few design changes I would make. First, the control panel should be covered or recessed so thighs don't change settings when sitting on it. I find this extremely frustrating as platform not large enough to get away from control panel and this limits the number possible positions. Second, I would love more hand holds on the frame to change positions of arms. Holding onto platform on front corners and back corners gives more activation of muscles, but there are no handles or holds. One thing I really love is that when on a high speed, it gradually reduces speed when time is up. If you are looking to buy one of these machines I would recommend looking closely at this one. While in the middle of the road price wise, the quality makes it worth the money, at least in my opinion. ... show more

I was looking to buy a vibration plate and this one had all the features I wanted. I have been using it for weeks now and can say that it offers a different dimension to working out. that has a lot of benefits. I bought it not to replace my current work out routine but to add to it, which it does greatly. I use it primary after working out to prove muscle relief and toning which this does and also to use in between regular workouts. One of the most noticeable benefits is after using i notice more tone than I have before. Why the Barwing after comparing, it is 4d which means it has four vibration modes which I wanted especially the micro mode. Which is like a message, feels great and proves relief. Compared to others it offers greater range of movement which means more G s and proves a better workout. This one has a great Frequency range which is something you want as there are benefits you get from having a plate that can prove from freguencies from 5-43 hertz. For a consumer model is built pretty tough, tougher than some of the others with better features and options. one option is the fact that the workout programs prove 3X as much time as do the others. This is a tough machine for the money with a lot of features that others do not have, it provides a good workout and at its price point is a great value. ... show more

    • Awesome vibrating plates by BARWING.
I like this vibrating plate by Barwing. It is sturdy and easy to operate. It is also gentle on my knees. It gives a very nice workout. My family members have tried it and like it as well. I decided on this vibration plate after doing my research.

I am disappointed that I’ve only used this machine four times and it’s already malfunctioning. It has a mind of its own and sometimes the controls start doing things like changing between speeds by itself. I just shut it off to reset. I wish I went with the other option I was considering. The machine is heavy so I’m reluctant to have to ship it back. It’s making funny sounds like things are loose in the machine. Not happy with this purchase. ... show more

I don't like running and This is a good substitute. It was very easy to set up and use. It has rubber feet, so even on non carpeted surfaces, the plate stays in place. There is an option to manually pick the mode you want to use or let the plate automatically run through the three different routines already programmed into it.     • Cord is loose and falls out stopping machine!
I really like this machine but the cord is not secure in the device port/ plug-in. I was sent a replacement, however, the new one is exactly the same, loose from the very beginning. This tells me it's a construction issue. I am VERY disappointed. After a short while the vibration of the device loosens the cord even more. Then you cannot even use it because it keeps shutting off the power to the platform by unplugging constantly. This new one is 1 day over the 30-day warranty and is now unplugging again as the last one. I will call to return the device but it's not worth $350 if it lasts only a month. ... show more

I am so pleased I chose this 4D platform. It has so many wonderful options! When on it, you can tell the platform is very well made. Also, it is very quiet! Yes, it is heavy, but I can wheel it easily. I found a great place to leave it in my living room.

This is a great machine, especially for the money. Very solid, love the wheel for moving. The only thing I believe is in great need of improvement is the directions on how to use the programs and features. I have to go to other makers to gain a better understanding of the features.
