These are perfect. The textured side gets all the nasty off...dirt, dead skin, sweat, whatever, and it feels really good on your feet. Clean up after that with the smooth side. One cloth is large enough for both my women's size 8.5 feet. Also, the dispensing is designed so you pull out just one at a time. I mean, who hates the packages with two or three interfolded so you're forced to pull out too many?! Oh, how I hate that! I can't say anything negative about these. Really nice scent, as well. Please don't change anything...like I said, they are perfect! I'm so pleased. Fair price, too! ... show more

    • “So Fresh and So Clean....Clean!....”
I considered titling this review “Cleaner Than the Shower,” but someone had already done that. Haha. I mulled over other titles for a couple minutes. And I just couldn’t cope with the title I knew these Clean Slate wipes deserved, “Possibly the Best Product of Any Kind Ever Made”......Because who is EVER going to believe that such an item exists?!.... I take “acceptable” care of my feet. But as a leader at a startup and a general busy body, I can be on my feet and in shoes for 14+ hours a day sometimes. And as a tall, stocky woman with low arches——working in corporate America can wreck my feet. Usually once or twice a week my feet show some signs of me brutalizing them (buildup or mild odor or just general “ick”). Which is why I started buying feet wipes to have on-hand about a year ago. I bought these wipes on a really uneducated whim. My other brand of staple tea tree foot wipes ran out and I thought I’d try some other brand “just for fun.” I wasn’t expecting or looking for anything unique. But at about 20 seconds into using the exfoliating side of my first Clean Slate wipe, I about fell off my bed. I could actually SEE—I mean really SEE—a difference in my feet as I was using the first one! Thinking back on my foot care experience thus far, not a brush, pumice stone, cloth or otherwise have ever had this level of effectiveness. Are there any CONS to these foot wipes?.........Well....if the gentlest, most refreshing, cleaning of your life—one that ends with skin so silky soft you’d swear baby’s newborn bottoms would be jealous of it—doesn’t sound like your thing, then these probably aren’t for you. ;) ... show more

    • Overall these wipes do a good job.
I only go barefoot on fairly clean floors and carpet but I like my feet really clean going to bed. These light thin wipes do a reasonably good job. They require a bit of scrubbing several times with the textured side (one wipe per foot) as the degree of moisture and cleaning agent in them appears insufficient to just wipe my feet clean by swiping across the bottom like a good large hand wipe or wet washcloth does. I like the size and texture and the fact they do not quickly dry out and are not heavily scented. I will need to use them at least a dozen times to decide if I want to reorder them. ... show more

These are fantastic. I am disabled and unable to wash my feet while showering. These are a game changer. My feet feel clean and the scrubby side works well at getting the dead skin off my feet. The smooth side refreshes and sooths the skin. Very happy with the product. My feet feel squeaky clean.

    • A seamless way to clean your foot without residue!
I workout barefoot in barre class and need to go about my day after. These wipes make that possible. They wipe my feet clean, leave them feeling fresh, not dry, but also not sticky. They dry immediately and I can put socks and shoes on immediately after using these. The scent is light and not overpowering - as in you won't feel awkward in a small space using them. The package is the perfect size to toss in a gym bag or purse and not feel like you're adding bulk. A really great product for someone on the go!! ... show more

I like that these are exfoliating without being too rough. They are large enough and wet enough to use one for both feet. They tend to "suds up" just slightly, but dry quickly. Feels like they leave just a bit of a film at first, but not noticeable after evaporating from skin surface. All in all, very pleased. ... show more

    • AMAZING WIPES, but overpriced for major packaging quality issue...
These wipes are great for wiping feet anytime they are dirty, sweaty, need a refresh etc especially if you are like me and wear flip flops everywhere, and bare feet in your home. They smell very good, it is a very natural fresh and slightly minty smell but so much nicer than some other foot wipes (cough Arm & Hammer which smells like a horribly sweet and overly strong gross true menthol). I think Barefoot Scientist might smell different because of the essential oils but I could be wrong. I can tell these are high quality wipes, they are extremely large and durable and have textured dots to really get your feet clean. HOWEVER there is a major packaging failure issue that needs to be fixed: The small white flap part that is supposed to anchor and dispense the wipes is faulty for 2 reasons. FIRST, when my wipes arrived it was a warm May SoCal day (maybe 75 degrees) and I noticed the adhesive holding this white flap down had totally dissolved and the flap was sliding around on top of the package. This flap system is responsible for keeping a tight seal so the wipes maintain their moisture and freshness, so this is a major problem. The only way I was able to fix it was to super glue it back together, but since the plastic has 0% porosity this really only halfway worked and the edges of it are still loose so my wipes might not maintain their moisture unless I keep them in a zipped plastic bag (I should have to do this for a $12 package of foot wipes, since it's a pain to have to use yet another opening and closing system when just reaching for a quick wipe). SECOND, the other issue is that their adhesive system is faulty because after using about 10 wipes, the motion of pulling them out of the dispenser hole results in the moisture of those wipes being rubbed off on the surrounding adhesive that is meant to keep this flap closed, and therefore keep the remaining wipes fresh and moist. Barefoot Scientist really needs to address this issue especially since these wipes are NOT cheap. The durable hard-plastic type package openings for wipes like these are usually the best way to go (that is the only thing Arm & Hammer did right on their foot wipes). These packaging closure styles, as long as the plastic interlocking system is secure, are usually the best way to go for packages of wipes like these. TO BAREFOOT SCIENTIST: Please fix the issues of adhesive melting during delivery, and not remaining sticky after some wipes are removed from the package, and this product will finally be 100% worth the $12 you are charging AND I will be a loyal Subscribe & Save every 2 week customer for life, and update this review to reflect 5 stars with pictures and results. ... show more
