Lucy appeared to like Barbie in a Wheelchair... but she of course is getting older and I thought my Baby Lucy is growing up!! I called my daughter the next day to inquire if Lucy liked the Barbies ... my daughter answered "OMG! Lu has done nothing but play with Barbie in a wheelchair!" Obviously when you gift a doll with long blond hair... said child is going to brush Barbie hairs! Lucy went to her Momma and ask her (Looking furtively around for Will Smith) "Why is Barbie's hair falling out when I brush it?" My daughter answered, "sometimes when someone is disabled in a wheelchair they may have autoimmune issues-- one of which could be (whispering here) A.L.O.P.E.C.I.A. Lucy gasped and said in the true wonderment of a child... "do you mean they made Barbie in a wheelchair to have alopecia and her hair to fall out-- for real??" Well. If Will shows up I hope to get enough time in to tell him his beef is with Mattel! The last I checked Barbie in a wheelchair isn't G.I. Jane yet!! The other Barbie I gifted her was Barbie with 2 puppies in a double stroller. Fast delivery. A little disappointed that the Barbie’s box was damaged while in transit. Box arrived bent and open on the corner. Barbie’s hair was not secured by the plastic inside the box around the head intended to hold the hair down. From how rough transit was, a shoe had come off too. It was inside the box but not on the Barbie’s foot. Luckily this was gifted to a child under 7, who stil appreciated the doll and accessories despite its rough appearance. Had I gifted to a child older I would’ve asked for a replacement. The quality of the stroller and dogs are good for the price. For the sale price, I would purchase again. ... show more

I got this Barbie set for my girl’s classmate for her 5 year old birthday and she really loved it. Of course, my girl whose birthday was only few weeks later wanted the same so she got this set and she is loving it. For those kids who love Barbies and animals, this is a great one!
