My 6-year-old outgrew his previous bike and it was time to upgrade. He was adamant about getting a basket so he can have a place to put his toys. The bike came with training wheels which is great. Despite the instruction booklet showing a kickstand, there was no kickstand in the box (not needed since there are training wheels). There are both forms or braking system (pedal and handlebars) which is a nice transition from his previous bike. His hand is too small to use the hand brakes but it’s there for him to practice when he’s ready. For now, the pedal brakes work perfectly fine. He loves the color scheme and the brown accents on the wheels, seat and handle bars are a nice touch. Installation is very straight forward. It may take a bit longer if the kids help. The front wheel does not have a quick detach system but the wheels are so small at this point, I’m not sure that would be necessary. ... show more

The bike itself is something my daughter wanted; light pink color, training wheels, and a basket. I am slightly disappointed that the mud guards aren't made of metal but then again my daughter will likely only use this bike for 1-3 years. The bike comes with "everything needed" for assembly but you will need some real wrenches for tightening the training wheels otherwise they will come off in my experience. I do recommend this bike, its very nice, sturdy, and everything a 5 year old girl could ask for. ... show more

A bike for my almost seven-year-old son. It is partially assembled and the rest of the assembly is easy. Paper booklets are great. It has roller coaster brakes plus handbrakes, training wheels, adjustable seats and handlebars. Very strong frame. Highly recommend.
