Ok, I was afraid of using this because I've never done my nails using dip products. I was surprised how easy it was. I took my time and prepped my nails a bit more than what the instructions said. I also filed and buffed my nails after step 2 dried. This helped them not look clumpy. Next time I will use less of the base before dipping since that's were the clumping came in. I will say that the base does smell like super glue like others have said so expect this to last on my nails at least 7 days. Update: the second picture is what they look like after wearing 7 days. Use thin coats of part 1, dip, then add part 2 for EVERY layer. The instructions try to have you use part 2 only at the end which makes the product crumble. If you do it this way it lasts much longer, I recommend 7-10 layers depending on how rough you are with your nails

I rarely leave reviews but I had to leave this one. I used everything in the kit except for a nail file and buffer that I have from a nail tip kit. Also I already have nail gems. But the pic is the kit itself. I cleaned my nails up then applied the base. I thought from reviews, that it would be hard to dip in the jar bit it's all about angles. I dipped at an angle to cover the whole nail then shook off the excess. I waited about a minute and repeated 2 more times for a 3 dipped nail. Then I applied the second phase and filed and buffed my nails. Please do that part so there's no ugly demarcation line and your nails aren't bulky and rough. You want smooth tops. Then I applied the second phase again and put my gem on. Then I applied 2 top coats. Some said the shine wasn't shiny enough but it did the trick for me and my goal is not to use my top coat that needs UV curing. Tip: Apply thin layer of base so it's not bulky with dip powder, same with the top coat or it will take longer to cure. ... show more

I recently tried out the AZUREBEAUTY Dip Powder Nail Kit Starter, and my experience with it has been somewhat mixed. While the kit offers convenience and a decent range of colors, there are a few aspects that left me feeling somewhat disappointed. First, I appreciate the convenience of having a complete starter kit that includes everything needed to try out dip powder nails. The kit comes with a range of colors, base coat, activator, top coat, and all the necessary tools. This comprehensive package eliminates the need to purchase individual components separately, making it a suitable option for beginners or those looking to experiment with dip powder nails at home. However, I found that the quality of the dip powders varied. While some colors provided excellent coverage and a smooth finish, others required multiple layers to achieve the desired opacity. The inconsistency in the pigmentation was disappointing, as it meant spending more time and effort to achieve the desired results. The application process itself was straightforward, thanks to the detailed instructions provided with the kit. The brushes and tools included were of decent quality and allowed for precise application. However, I did find that the powders tended to clump together, making it challenging to achieve a smooth and even coat. This inconsistency in texture made the application process more time-consuming and required additional buffing and shaping to achieve a desirable result. Removing dip powder nails requires soaking in acetone, and I found that it took longer than anticipated to dissolve and remove the powder completely. This extended removal process can be time-consuming and requires additional effort compared to regular nail polishes. In conclusion, the AZUREBEAUTY Dip Powder Nail Kit Starter offers convenience and a range of colors for those interested in trying out dip powder nails at home. However, the inconsistency in pigmentation, clumping during application, longer drying time, and challenging removal process detracted from the overall experience. The media could not be loaded. 1.) Buy a proper dip tray. This plastic thing they include is not worth it. I tossed it. Once there's powder on it it's difficult to pick up. 2.) re: Activator. If you're new to dip powder. I've found to do a double application of the activator. Having the product fully cured before moving onto the top coat is critical. I would recommend getting an extra bottle of activator. Overall, product is great. End results are great. Brushes on product bottles are average. The included items in the kit are absolutely enough to get a full nice manicure/pedicure without having to get anything extra. I did find the final top coat to take the longest to dry. Colors in this kit are perfect for a soft pastel look. Would recommend and would buy again. ... show more
