    • No more money down the drains, only more camera!
I've been using Jaydear Sewer cameras for inspections the past couple of years and have had fits with them. The screen tends to eventually stop showing the picture. The cable is rather thin and doesn't often get past 40 feet into a drain lateral (that's if it doesn't kink on you). So when a fellow inspector recommended Anysun scopes, I checked them out. I immediately purchased one and haven't looked back. The design, especially regarding the cable/visual inputs, are far superior, the screen is crystal clear and most importantly, the cable and camera hardware or stiff/rigid and help the the camera much further down the drains. The wheel attachment with adjustable arms for the camera is an absolute game-changer! When it comes to sewer scope cameras in the less than $1000 ballpark, this is hands down the best bang for the buck. It's FAR better to spend $500 once than $300-$400 every 6 months on subpar products. I'm a HUGE fan of Anysun cameras! ... show more

    • Item works well, with little room for improvement.
I believe this device would work well for what it is intended for. Battery life is great! It does come with an 8GB SD card. My preference would be a micro sd card with the sd card adapter for more device versatility for the review of captured videos and images. Functionality of the DVR is a little clunky but not difficult once you go through the steps. I only have 2 critiques. 1) The viewing screen is built into the case lid and shielded. My application, I had to tip the case onto the lid so that I could view the screen while trying to feed the camera line, then all the contents of the case kept falling out. Suggestion, make the screen removable/mobile or make the shield removable. 2) My application needed to walk the reel around a 10ft area. The cable from the reel to the DVR is only about 18" which made that very difficult as I then had to walk the entire case around the area while also holding is open to continue to view the screen. Again, a mobile screen option would be great. I think the best option would be a usb-c connection that could connect straight to a mobile device with all the controls then in an application. ... show more

    • Really easy to use and it has great picture quality.
We had a sewer back up a couple of months ago. We had it snaked and it worked great until a few weeks ago then plugged again. The plumber came out and cleared it again this week. After it was cleared I ran the camera down to see what was causing the problem. We could see that there was a low spot in the sewer line that had an accumulation of sludge that the sewer machine couldn't clear. I now know that in order to clear the line totally that it will need to be jetted. With out the camera it would still be a guessing game. This camera works great. Next I will use it to inspect my HVAC ducts. ... show more

    • Battery does not work; Recording function does not work
The reason I rate this product two stars (poor) and not one star (awful) is because the camera does work well and so does the distance counter. The battery does not work and the device will not record on the SD card. In fact, I don’t even care much about the battery or SD card so maybe I will change to three stars but it bugs that a brand new item out of the box does not function as advertised. ... show more

    • Picture clarity is fantastic and quality is phenomenal
Bought this after 2 calls to the Cesspool company to resolve a clog after we moved into a new home. The Cesspool company wanted to charge 500$ just to drop the camera in to look into the pipes We figure we'd give it a try ourselves since the cost was almost the same The sewer camera was, easy to use, very rugged and the camera went through multiple bends without any kinking We found the blockage which was a logging of disposable wipe which was stuck to the pipe walls, thanks to the distance counter, were able to tell the cesspool company that it was 65 ft in from the outside pipe Providing that info it cost us another $150 to snake and finally clear the obstruction We've now used it for other friends and family to help them and the camera has been a life saver Highly Recommended, make sure to splurge for the distance counter ... show more

    • No Self Leveling
4/28/2024 @ 6:05 pm EST (Update): I $130.00 paid for a replacement cable with digital counter capabilities (Tuesday, 4/23/24 @ 8:36 am) through PayPal, but, Anysun won't ship me the cable,... When I purchased this sewer camera, it was advertised as "self leveling." When it arrived, I didn't have an immediate need for it, so I put it on the shelf. When I did need it, the FIRST thing that jumps out at you is the CLARITY of scope on the screen. All of the other functionality (distance counter, cable flexibility and etc.) worked as advertised. However, without the as advertised "Self Leveling" capability, I was doing gymnastics to correctly see the screen. When I called Amazon about it, they accepted the return, BUT, it costs me $120, since it was outside of the return period. I stated that I wouldn't be returning it IF, it contained the ADVERTISED Self Leveling feature. They failed miserably in their " Customer Service" and never took accountability, but, I did order another one, which I tested and confirmed that it had the feature. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This product does exactly what we need it to do. 100 ft cable with a feet/meter counter and a clear camera. Great alternative to a $6000.00 camera!
