Description

Whether you’re just getting into records, rediscovering a record collection long since buried away or simply adding a turntable to complete your system, the AT-LP60X fully automatic belt-drive turntable is an excellent choice. This affordable, easy-to-use turntable plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, with its built-in switchable phonon preamp, can be connected directly to your home stereo, powered speakers, computer and other components, whether they have a dedicated phonon input or not. An update of the popular AT-LP60, the ATLP60X features a redesigned tone arm base and head shell to improve tracking and reduce resonance. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conVersion outside of the chassis where its impact on the signal chain is limited. Audio-Technical has been a leader in phonon cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60X’s Dual Magnet cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the head shell for assured performance and ease of setup. The turntable comes with a detachable RCA output cable (3. 5 mm male to dual RCA male), 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover. It is available in black (AT-LP60X-BK), brown/black (AT-LP60X-BW), gunmetal/black (AT-LP60X-GM), and red/black (AT-LP60X-RD).

  • One Sweet TT
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
After my old 1960s Dual 1009SK finally gave up the ghost, I was in a quandary as what to get for replacement. Shopped around a lot with friends and internet, etc. and found this Audio Technica AT-LP60X-BK on Amazon. It had very good ratings and was priced reasonably, in fact so reasonable I almost skipped over it, thinking it wasn't that good. Sure glad I took a chance! Despite the low price, it performs beautifully with no noise, no hassle, and simple, effective operation. It comes complete with cartridge, dust cover, cables, etc. It's compact, unobtrusive, good looking and just works well!! Oh, and because I'm finicky, I have ordered an elliptical needle cartridge, although the included one seems to sound just fine. ... show more

  • Good product for beginners
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
I have no frame of reference for what a turntable is supposed to sound like, but this works great. The sound quality is noticeably better than any digital media. The speakers I bought easily hook up to it(I would just get the amazon recommended speakers). Some skipping, but I think that may be the actual records because it's usually around the same times/rotations. ... show more

  • Honest Review -- It's more than beginner level
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
Honestly, I can't stop raving about it. Whether you're diving back into your old vinyl collection or just starting out, this thing is a game-changer. What I love most is how easy it is to use. You just pop your record on, hit play, and let the AT-LP60X work its magic. Plus, it handles both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records, so you're covered no matter what you're spinning. Now, let's talk about the sound. It's like rediscovering music all over again. The redesigned tone arm and head shell really make a difference – they improve tracking and reduce that annoying resonance you sometimes get with other turntables. And get this: the AC adapter is outside the chassis, which means less noise interference and cleaner audio. Trust me, you'll notice the difference. Oh, and the little extras? They're just the cherry on top. The detachable RCA output cable, the 45 RPM adapter – it's all there. Bottom line: if you're in the market for a turntable that's affordable, easy to use, and delivers top-notch sound quality, the AT-LP60X is the way to go. I'm already thinking about buying another one for a different room in the house. ... show more

  • They Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
Having owned turntables since adolescence, I know a good turntable when I see one. This is not necessarily a bad product. It serves a purpose. The price is right and it will last if you take very good care of it. I looked at other turntables that were pricier and I concluded that these devices are quite similar except in price. Having had to discard my old Technics turntable which I had since 1982 because of an inability to get a replacement belt drive, it had to be tossed. Sadly, I might add. Having an extensive vinyl and CD collection, I made do with my disc player. However, I yearned for the sound of vinyl. This is not a bad machine and unlike my previous turntable which was manual this one is automatic to play albums and 45's. It's kinda nice. However, it doesn't feel as sturdy as it is quite light. I found out the needle is very, very fragile as it can pop off easily and if you're not careful it can easily break if you don't put it back just so. The drive belt seems very light and I just hope it doesn't wear out with extensive use. But that's the chance we all take. Delivery was very good and it arrived undamaged. It is easy to set up and shows clear instructions. There is also a switch on the back of the turntable. I have no idea what purpose it serves. When I put my first album on, it sounded very distorted. I thought my receiver or my speakers were the issue or that I hadn't connected it properly. None of this was the case and trying one last thing it was the switch in the back of the table itself. Once I flipped it the sound was perfectly clear. It's a good machine and it serves its purpose. It's just that it's so light to the point it feels flimsy. My advice to anyone purchasing this model is; it is a quality machine that serves its purpose, but keep the original box cause if you plan on moving or decide to set it up elsewhere it is very fragile so be careful. ... show more

  • Just what I wanted
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
This is a great record player for what we are using it for. I was caught off guard when I opened the box and saw I had to assemble it myself, but it was easier than I thought to do. It puts out great sound and is super easy to "start" with the automatic button. There is also a "stop" button if you want to stop anywhere on the record. Set up easily with my Yamaha receiver and my Klipsch speakers sound great with it. I also love that it has a clear cover so the cats don't ruin it. We are getting back into the vinyl so this is perfect for now. ... show more
