It's expected to have some pain after a sometime using this over the ear headphones, but they are very tight, and you will feel the pain after a few minutes. These are great audio for the money. However, if you can spare a bit extra the A40 TRs (without the mixer, you don’t need it) are far better build and sound quality, and imo more bang for your buck. Their pretty good for the price they have great audio and the mic doesn't echo. But they hurt my ears after a while because the speaker part doesn't swivel

The A10 gen 2 is a great headset, it just has some flaws. In game, sometimes you will find that people can hear you, but you can’t hear them. This proves to be very annoying as you have to disconnect and reconnect it about 20 times to get it to work. Otherwise the headset is extremely comfortable, the audio is very clear, and it’s super durable. Another plus is Astro customer support. They’re extremely helpful, and after contacting them about the audio issue, they understood what it was and shipped a replacement which I recently received. ... show more

Only reason why I gave these a 4 star is because I genuinely thought these were broken cause the guide didn’t help much for how to set them up. But other than that they are really good! Comforting on the ears too

I wanted a good Astro headset but I couldn’t afford the newer models, so I took a chance on these and I didn’t regret it. I used to have a20’s and they lasted for two years so I wanted another Astro headset. These are great for the price. The mic has good sound quality and cancels out background noise extremely well. The mic isn’t pitchy or sensitive at all and isn’t easily damageable. You can even eat on mic if you put it farther away from your face and your mic won’t pick it up, which is great because I’m a snacker and I hate flipping my mic up and down while I’m snacking because people keep talking to me lol. It won’t pick up on fans or people that are near you or any of those type of noises. It also has good surround sound and good sound quality. I’m able to hear footsteps and movement really well in game, and I can still hear my friends well without the game and voice sounds colliding and overlapping each other. It is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, but my only warning is to people with bigger heads because the adjustment doesn’t have a great range. It is wired, and I had the hardest time figuring out what was wrong with it at first because I wasn’t hearing the sound, and I went on Reddit and found the answer. So a PSA to all of you, make sure you click the cord that goes into the headset all the way in, otherwise you won’t hear sound. You’ll have to push it in with a bit of force, then you’ll hear a click sound and it should work. Overall, great purchase and would buy again. ... show more
