Well, this trumpet is pretty cheap so I wasn't expecting a Bach Strad, but it plays well and sounds nice and brassy - intonation is good straight out the box. It has decent compression and a good pop from the slides. Valves are as smooth as velvet, even without any oiling over the weeks of playing it! I use it exclusively with a Harmon mute attached. Very good quality for the price it’s asking. Albeit, not the end all be all it does set a high standard for what a beginner Trumpet should look, feel snd sound like.
