I'm fairly new at water color and this set seems to work well for me. there are no holes in the caps, so the pens shouldn't dry out over time. they all work and nothing is broken. the price isn't bad for what you get. the blending brush works great....as the pic i included shows. you don't need much of the color because the blending pen spreads it, which means the colors should last longer. i would recommend this to anyone who likes to dabble in water color. comes with very basic instructions for use however, so online tutorials may be needed for those who have never done it before. over all i am very happy with my purchase. ... show more

Nice range of colors. Unfortunately the grey was missing and I didn't figure that out until I had already used the set and gotten rid of stuff from it that I didn't need. Very nice flexible tips--so check each color and make sure they are all there.

I’ve used water soluble brush markers before and these ones are really great. The bright colors blend well and are easy to use wet or dry (I really like picking up color from a darker color like a red into a lighter pink or yellow for an ombré effect) The fineliner pen is way better than I was expecting for a liner in a pack like this. I keep making my artist friends try it because of how nice it is for art or writing. The postcards it came with that you can color were also really cute! I appreciated that they were printed on multimedia paper so that it could handle me using watercolors on it. I purchased these because I’m not a pro at watercolor, but I’ve always liked the idea of really practicing and getting better at it. I took a few online lessons for it during covid and really liked it, and honestly I prefer water brush pens to watercolors because they’re easy to use. I originally tried Arteza pens, but I wanted some cuter, fun colored-pens. That’s why I decided to try these Artistro watercolor brush pens. To me, they seem more feasible. I like the range of colors (and there’s neon ones too which are awesome!). And since they are watercolors, you can blend more colors than the 48 they give you. Plus, the swatch sheet was really cool. It helped me plan out my colors before I used them. If you wanna paint with watercolors, but need a more portable solution, 10/10 I’d recommend these to you. They are definitely more like brush pens than watercolor paints. They actually aren’t very blendable and don’t fade out with water the way that watercolor paint does. Also, I hate that there is no deep red color. They work if you lay down water first, then use the pens, then put more water on top, but you have to be fast. And doing all of that makes the paint run everywhere, so yeah.. they are just not what I was looking for. ... show more
