It’s comfortable under the feet. The dogs have even approved. We can cut it to fit the size we need. With the drainage holes no worry on have puddles of water. This is more plush than one we had ordered from a total different store that we immediately sent back. We have seen flannel pajamas thicker than that returned one. So I found this one and ordered. This review is for the Artificial Grass Rug, 0.4"Synthetic Artificial Grass Turf Indoor Outdoor Garden Balcony Lawn Landscape Faux Grass Rug with Drainage Holes 5x8 FT priced at $43.19. This rug is the typical astro turf type material. It is very short and scratchy. I laid it out and weighed the edges down to remove the bumps from packaging. I've only had it on my patio for a week and it already has a pull in the center. I'm not sure if it is a manufacturing issue or just my luck that something caught it wrong. I was able to burn/melt the pulled area and it seems to be doing okay now. I'm going to give it a month or so to see how it holds up and I will update this review as needed. ... show more

This was a nice and easy upgrade to our yard, which endures a high amount of UV and heat every summer, along with drought conditions. All we had to do was take it out of the packaging and unroll it where we wanted it- the seller was very thoughtful in how to send it without creasing it in the process. We turned on the hose to test it, and it let the water flow to the soil underneath easily. However, it is also so dense that it would slowly smother any plants underneath. Being this is being set in a dirt area, that is not an issue for us. One quick thing to consider is it is very light, so a strong breeze can pull it up just like a light rug. A couple yard staples or spikes, or a heavy pot on strategic corners, will fix the issue without much extra fuss. Renter friendly? Yes, providing you do not kill the property manager's real grass by leaving it on top. This is best for places like balconies, hard patios, and dirt areas. ... show more

The pictures make this look like this is a high end grass rug. The pictures show immaculate edges too. When I opened it. 1. Jagged edges. 2. Super thin material. (same quality as you would find in a liquidation store. ) 3. The bag contained ALL kinds of detritus from the manufacturing process. I would NOT permanently install this with staples. I guess I was expecting "Astro-Turf" quality stuff that you would find in a sports arena. That is what the pictures let me to believe. Not even close. I was expecting BASED on the pictures to have something I could put in my home office that resembled grass. NOT even close. This is a cheap green plastic grassy mat. ... show more

We grabbed the 5x8 to put out by our pool ladder. The landing pad is made from 2' x 2' pavers and they get incredibly hot under the sun. We added this to them as a way to easily clean your feet off before getting in the water and also so you didn't burn your tootsies when waiting your turn to get in. Works like a charm. Just unroll it, leave it in the sun to level out and then put it where you want. We've only had ours out for 48 hours so I can't say anything about durability, but for the price, if it lasts a year or two and you have to replace it, it's not that big of deal. This piece of artificial grass came rolled up nicely preventing any creases. It is however very thin and the "grass" is very shiny plastic and very flattened out, even after letting it breathe after unrolling it. This is comparable to the cheapest indoor/outdoor carpeting at the big box home center. I think it is way over priced at just under $50 for the small piece. I could get a much larger piece of the same stuff for less than half the price, or get a larger higher quality piece for about half the price. This is pretty lightweight and will blow around easily. It does look nice and didn’t have an awful odor like some I’ve had. It does not have hemmed edges so I worry about fraying with time. But it does the job and addd a little color to my outdoor seating area.

Perfect piece for an old brick patio to make it usable again. I can't believe the improvement it made. I rolled it back up to wait for better weather and when I put it back out I will have pots in the corners to keep the wind from picking it up. As I say that, I think it is of a nice density and weight but we do get a good wind on that side of the house so even our furniture there is quite heavy for that reason. This has a nice soft turf that is not long but short enough to make cleaning easy. Good product. ... show more
