    • A little small, but good artificial grass
I got this not really sure if my pup would use it (has refused in the past) and have been pleasantly surprised. I got 2 different sizes at the same time but these feel more like natural grass than the turf feel of past ones I've gotten. I did get them through vine program, where I'm more willing to take risks on things that at regular price, but this smaller one would have enticed me anyway as it's not a big investment to give it a try, especially compared to some others I've seen (though I haven't shopped around a ton to know where it lands on the market), The only complaint I have with these is that there is no pad or tray (I do like the tray style of another I have) to better catch everything and dispose of it without any getting through to the surface below (this is on my deck but may get more for inside as well). ... show more

I ordered the "Artificial Grass, 36 x 24 Inches Dog Pee Pads, Professional Artificial Turf Grass Outdoor for Home Entryway Patio Garden Area Rug Lawn Door Mat Decoration" because my pup has a doggy door leading from the kitchen/breakfast area out to the yard. However, my yard isn't fully enclosed, so I had to rig a smaller, enclosed area for her until I can budget having the fences done by a professional. As you can see in the photo, the 36x24" grass rug does not fully cover the designated "dog area," but this is a test drive for me. I'm not sure how my pup will react to artificial turf, but I thought we could give it a go and see how well it works out. The hopeful intent is that I'll be able to keep her area clean AND minimize the necessity for ongoing weeding. The areas in the photo are lined with cardboard as a weed barrier and if this project works out well enough, I plan to redo the full area this time next year with a piece of artificial grass which will cover the full enclosure. Fingers crossed! As for the quality of the product, I do not have any experience with artificial grass to pull from, so I have to say I'm pretty ok with it right now. I will update this review if the artificial grass does not hold up or if anything unexpected comes of it.     • Looks good and works well
I don't have grass in my yard and I can't grow grass either, so I rely on fake grass like this for my dogs. Plus it makes the yard look a bit nicer. The fake grass is soft to the touch and drains well. It doesn't smell or even seem to hold odor at all. I haven't needed to spray with a hose either, which is nice. The color is bit brighter than my other patches of fake grass, but that's ok. I'm still happy with it and the dogs like having it. ... show more

Honestly, I got this turf with the mindset that I could use it as a golf hitting mat. Based on the description, I figured it was sturdy enough and would save my lawn when hitting practice shots. And I was right. This little mat is perfect (you just need to use some landscape spikes to hold it in place). The "grass" has a natural grain to it that you can use to hit into so the club does not get hung up. And this price is about 1/10th of what hitting mats cost. Though they mentioned it could be used as that in the description, it’s actually meant to be used more as a mat since there’s no actual padding beneath it. I did use it with some absorbent pads I had. And though the holes in the turf are very small and fairly far apart from one another, it does sort of work. More holes would have been better. So, not a perfect pee pad but definitely doable. Plus, I really liked that it was offered in a larger size. So many actual puppy pads are pretty small in size.     • A patio alternative for when it rains
Our dog hates the rain, and she will not go outside to potty when it it's actively raining. In the corner of our patio gives her an alternative to going inside or just on the deck and she's already used it with a couple of storms we've had. It's nothing fancy as far as turf goes, it's a lot less substantial than the turf we have installed out in our yard but that's not its use case for us and we don't mind.
