    • Clever, Functional, and Adjustable, But Not the Most Comfortable - May Need Extra Padding
I actually really love the idea and design behind this SUV air mattress. I've been in several situations where I've needed to sleep in my car - either for long trips or for camping where there wasn't enough space in the camper or tent. I think the success of this mattress will depend greatly upon the setup of your particular SUV. If your seats fold completely flat (where the level of the "trunk" area matches perfectly with the back of the seats), you'll have a lot better luck than I did. Unfortunately for me, in my 2014 Santa Fe, the back seats do not lay perfectly flat. They form a bit of a "ramp" meaning there's a noticeable hump where the seats meet the trunk area. Because of that, I struggled a bit with sliding around on the mattress at night. I do like that they've got multiple separate air chambers to help accommodate the widest variety of car shapes and sizes. It was very easy to get the maximum space possible for my car. As for comfort, if you've ever slept on an air mattress of this thickness, you'll know what to expect. It's not meant for daily use of course, but in a pinch, it was just fine. Because SUVs, particularly crossovers" are not particularly long, you'll likely need to lie at a diagonal angle if you want to full stretch out. That means, it probably won't accommodate two people who want to lay fully outstretched. When used by one person (myself being almost 6 ft tall), I could just about stretch out, but as a side sleeper, there just wasn't enough padding and I found my shoulders really hurting quite a bit. If you're going to get the maximum use and comfort out of it, you'll likely need to do some customizations like adding extra support under the "trunk" section to make it level, and you might consider adding additional padding to the top if you're a side sleeper to prevent discomfort. For what it is, I actually like it a lot. I think it's best as a "start" rather as an end point for car camping, so with a few extra blankets and maybe a camping pad or two, this could actually be pretty good for a couple nights.     • Works perfectly for what I needed!
So I actually got this to put in the back of my husband's car for going to the drive-in! So not necessarily using it for sleeping lately but definitely could use it to sleep on if we went on a long road trip. For the purpose that I wanted it for though it is 100% perfect! I love that this has separate Chambers so I can easily fit this in the space of his SUV with no problem. I have to say that the seats in our SUV can lay down perfectly flat so we can really get maximum use out of the air mattress. It is actually surprisingly comfortable for being an air mattress as well. The drive-in has not opened yet for the season but we have already used this for a backyard movie with our projector and it works perfectly! It easily held air the whole entire time and did not leak any. We even left it in the car all night just to see if it would leak out during the night and it did not! I feel like this would also be perfect for camping trip if you didn't want to sleep out in the tent! Definitely made from very high quality materials! You can tell that it will stay sturdy and hold its air! I would definitely review the dimensions of not only your SUV but the dimensions of the mattress before we're purchasing just to make sure that it will be a good fit! That's what we did and it fit perfectly for our situation! Really could not be happier with this and I'm super excited to take it to the drive-in multiple times over the summer! This would be perfect for anyone that goes on long road trips regularly as well especially if you've been just sleeping in your car with the seats laid back. This would be a game changer for you LOL! I recently upgraded to this SUV Car Inflatable Sleeping Air Mattress, and overall, it's been a decent addition to my camping gear. Compared to my previous SUV mattress, which was way too thick for my liking, this one hits the sweet spot in terms of comfort and thickness. It provides adequate support without feeling overly bulky. One thing to note is that inflating this mattress takes a bit longer than others I've used. This is due to the 6 separate chambers, which you need to inflate individually. It's a minor inconvenience, but worth mentioning if you're used to faster inflation times. My main concern with this mattress is its durability. I've noticed that if you use the feet side panels, it creates a weak spot between them and the main mattress. This weakens the material and increases the risk of tears. Because of this, I don't recommend using the side panels at all to avoid potential damage to the mattress. On the positive side, when fully inflated without using the side panels, the mattress provides a comfortable sleeping surface. It fits well in my SUV and offers a good amount of space for sleeping. The material feels soft against the skin, and I've had no issues with discomfort while using it. When it comes to packing up, the deflation process is straightforward. The mattress folds down relatively compactly, making it easy to store in the car when not in use. In conclusion, this SUV Car Inflatable Sleeping Air Mattress strikes a balance between comfort and thickness, but inflating can be time-consuming due to the separate chambers. However, the durability is questionable, especially if you use the side panels. For a comfortable sleep, I recommend using the main mattress only to avoid potential tears.
