Externally, this notebook has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a thin, backlit "second generation" butterfly mechanism keyboard with an integrated "Touch Bar" touch-sensitive control that adapts for different applications and provides Touch ID login support in lieu of traditional function keys, and a gigantic "Force Touch" trackpad. Additionally, it has a high-resolution LED-backlit 15.4" widescreen 2880x1800 (220 ppi, 500 nits) "Retina" display, and a integrated battery that provides an Apple estimated 10 hours of runtime. This notebook is offered in either silver colored aluminum or a darker "Space Gray" colored aluminum housing (but not other colors) and weighs just a bit more than 4 pounds (1.83 kg). Received the lap too sooner than expected. Packaging was neat and safely secured. I was more so impressed with the physical condition of the laptop as I’ve seen and heard of many horror stories from others who have order refurbished MacBooks throughout. I received a clean and truly refurbished MacBook as described. There was only one minor imperfection which was a small scratch on the bottom that is hardly noticeable. Also some very fine and minor rough edges that is only noticeable if you were to look at it up close but that is expected with used product. The MacBook also came with a new charger. The battery life appears to be in normal condition and no issues so far. Keyboard, touchpad, touch bar, and screen functions work just fine, no issues. The only slight “con” I had was with setting up the computer. I assumed the seller set the laptop to its original factory setting as I was not able to perform certain functions initially due to having an outdated MacBook OS. After doing some simple research, I was able to download the MacBook Ventura OS version which is the most current OS. The MacBook is now updated and I am satisfied with my purchase. I acquired the MacBook Pro 15" for professional purposes. Although the product seemed to be in great visual condition, it unfortunately has several problems. The battery is faulty, there are scratches and dents all over, and the speaker only works intermittently. Since I rely on the laptop daily for both school and work, I urgently need to transfer everything onto a replacement Mac. I have requested the seller to provide me with a partial refund, as I believe I paid more for an item that was inaccurately described in the seller's listing. Regrettably, the seller is not cooperating with me on this matter. Communication has been quite strange, to say the least. Im a seasoned tech guy with year of experience with use and repair of computers and networking and this device is definitly decent. I ordered the "excellent" refurbished item and it arrived fully functional and ready to update(which is required to be done by the buyer due to factory reset and this being an older computer) but something about the chasis sticker threw me off. The whole top and bottom of the macbook has had a sticker applied suspected to be used to hide scratches. Also even though "excellent" was the target theres still a chip in the casing along with the obvious sticker cover up job they did.(which should be advertized atleast) just that alone leaves this feeling like a dkoldies style "refurbishment" which leads me to beliee it definitly wasnt refurbished as a true refurbishment would require opening the device and cleaning/reapplying thermal paste(at the very least). with such a thin compact form factor this is very much needed part of refurbishment for this mac. Otherwise to these defects the mac performs and all functions it originally had are operational. I would just say dont order anything besides excellent condition or you definitly will run into some of the issues you see from other reviews. ... show more

I purchased a brand new MacBook Pro 2017 15” in 2018 for a little over $2k. It was smashed and I needed a new laptop. I can’t afford the $2k at the moment so I decided to purchase renewed MacBook Pro 2017 15” 1tb memory from double dex refurbished. Let me tell you! Whoever is in charge of repairing the MacBook pros is doing a fantastic job. I had ordered the same MacBook Pro with less memory from Buspry and received a dented up aluminum case MacBook with a screen replacement job that was so botched. The M key didn’t work. I returned the unit and reordered. The laptop came in two days. Almost mint condition. The tiniest scratch. Everything else was immaculate. The screen perfect. No scratches. Keys work perfect. The laptop is clean. No dents. It looks almost brand new. It’s been operating fine. I would recommend double dex refurbished again and again. Im you guys keep doing what you’re doing. The media could not be loaded. The day that I received it, I noticed a damaged corner like its been dropped and it didn't want to boot up without being in recovery mode. Once I got past that part, I had an issue with charging it because the cord was bad. Got a new cord, charged it, battery didn't last very long. It died on me 20 minutes into a 30 minute DJ set. Then it had issues with Serato DJ (making stems flicker on and off uncontrollably) making it difficult to play at different gig. So I went to Apple the next and bought a brand new one so that I can return this one. ... show more
