I bought this computer a few months ago, at first I was little skeptical because it was refurbished, however i've been using the system for like 6 months and it has been great with no flaws what so ever. the only regret was not to buy it with more internal hard drive space, that was my decision, I did by an external hard drive to cover me on that. This was one the best purchases I made, the computer system was almost new, little cosmetic wear, small and slight scratches, keyboard looked great, screen in perfect condition.     • Sorely disappointed in Apple
I’ve used Apple products since 1990. In the past, like in the tv commercial, the device is taken out of the box, plugged in, and you’re ready to go. This is how it should be. The last Apple desktop computer I purchased in 2017 works this way, as have every iPhone I’ve owned since my first smartphone purchase in 2011. Sadly, this laptop drove me to the brink of insanity. Non-calibrated and overly sensitive touchpad, non-response to commands, too-low profile keyboard keys — when I listed what didn’t work, I had 9 different issues before I decided it was going back. I also use PCs — laptops and otherwise. I’ve used word processors since the mid 80s. I’ve never before not been able to immediately use a device. When did computers become unusable? The worst part was the hours and hours I spent trying to return this POS. The ONLY return option Amazon offered was pickup from UPS with an adult present for signature. I work on the road, and return took weeks. Why TF couldn’t I return this to a UPS store myself? I expect better from Amazon. For this reason I won’t be buying pricey electronics from Amazon anytime soon. ... show more

TL:DR; Device look and run like brand new. Worth every single penny. To be honest I was kind of skeptical at first when getting this item from reading all the reviews, but I just went for it since the price was too good and amazon return was pretty good. When I first got the MacBook, it came with all original documents and brand new charger. Inspected the outside of the device, NOT a single scratch and small ding at all. Opened the device up and turned it on booted right up with no hiccups. Looked at the battery settings to see how many cycles it has been, but to my surprise it was a brand new battery! Ran couple benchmarks softwares, and the scores were the exact same. Had it for two weeks now, what I usually do is use it as my stock trading laptop, some photo editing as well as light gaming. Everything ran perfectly fine! So I think I got my money's worth with this purchase as this version of the 15in MacBook Pro on any other refurbished sites such as Apple's or Best Buy's are still selling this device for $2000+. ... show more
