1. Parts didn’t line up and took a great deal of pressure to insert threaded nipples through the 3 holes. 2. Took 2 hours to assemble. 3. Instructions didn’t match the pendant type of installation. 4. Since plug and switch are too big to fit through the links, the cord must be run loose, along the chain. Sloppy looking. Once assembled, it seems sturdy. Needs a #1 Phillips screwdriver and a 14mm open end wrench for assembly. We wish we had noticed the loose cord in the photos. Probably wouldn’t have bought it then. Edit: in the end, my wife decided to not run the cord up the chain. Photo added. Looks good. Changed from 3 to 4 stars. ... show more

This items assembly instructions were stupid. No parts list and instruction sheet made no sense. I had spent 2 hours putting it together for nothing. I threw it in the trash because I wouldn't wish this pain on an enemy. Ridiculous! China made...there ya go!
