I’ve had this same comforter before, about 5 years ago before I moved out of the country, and I moved back like 3 years ago. I bought it again because I remember liking how durable and comfortable this comforter is, breathable but warm. I’ve been using a duvet with a black cover for a little while, and while the duvet is nice and thick and cozy, the fact of the matter is both the duvet and the cover were in terrible shape, and the king size duvet cover still felt too small for the queen size duvet somehow (unless I was given a different size duvet than it said on the label). I got rid of those because it was bugging me how it fit on the bed, and the fact that it didn’t stay decent for long. This comforter is so much easier to wash anyway, and I’m really glad I re-bought it. Washed it a few days ago, so it smells like fresh laundry. Laying on it right now, and ahhh 😌 that’s so much better! I definitely recommend this comforter!! It’s not fancy hotel quality or anything, but, it’s really nice for the home if you’re looking for something affordable, but decent quality. ... show more

It's definitely cute and is super soft. Overall, amazing quality. It's not as thick as I was hoping for in a comforter so I still use something under/over it during the winter time. It's a perfect temperature during hot months and even the fall when it's a little chilly. It's lightweight and won't overheat you during the warmer seasons. Only thing I wish it had was a bit more insulation to keep me warmer during the winter. You won't be shivering or freezing with this, but for those who like to be balled up warm under their blankets, this needs a little help in that area! It's easy to wash to. I don't have high expectations when it comes to products from Amazon Basics unless its from their tech section (cables, wires, etc.), but this was surprising. I am a college student and am always looking to stretch my dollar certain places. I bought a double (size of the mattress) a year ago and was using cheap blankets that eventually started shedding. After cleaning up that mess I ordered this amazing king comforter for my bed. There was no bad odor, discoloration, etc. It was pretty perfect for what my expectations were. And it comes in a nice zipper bag with handles should I need to move and transport it! This comforter is not dense and thick at the same time. It looks thicker because it is fluffy- if that makes sense. It's actually the perfect balance though. There are no clumps of filling in one spot and empty pockets elsewhere. It's all around even and a good amount of filling. Now the quality of the filling. It's not your nice down feather filling like in pricey sleeping bags. But I am the type of sleeper who loves a cool temperature room. Heck, I like the room cold as long as the blanket keeps me warm under the covers. And this does just that. It does not make me sweat (yuck) or leave me wanting. In fact, last night I used it for the first time with my simple bed sheet and actually slept-in by 3 hours this morning! I like how soft and gentle this comforter feels against my skin and face. I live in the central part of California, the temperature in my room gets to 60 degrees at the lowest. I'm a cool temperature sleeper, young guy, and not too big (don't generate much body heat). This kept me cozy and comfortable all night long. I can foresee using this during spring and maybe summer? Maybe. That should give you some idea as to the idea of warmth you can get from this comforter. If you are living in colder areas, this may not be thick enough for you- or have the right filling to trap body heat under the blanket for you. Likewise, if you are a tiny person who can take the cold at all, get something warmer or sleep with sweats on if you decide to buy this anyway. This is a great product A very nice product at a great, great price! Could not find anything more affordable than this at the same level of quality at Costco, Walmart or elsewhere! I LOVE this reversible comforter/blanket. It is the absolute perfect blanket for any weather. I live in the southeast where it can be 30 when you wake up and 80 by the afternoon, but this blanket is amazing for different temperatures. I have to have a blanket to sleep, even when it's warm, and I this one is perfect for me. I have been using this for a while now, it is kind of small for a twin bed, check the dimensions, not especially warm, and it appears that my dryer sort of melted it. Not bad for the money, but next time I will spend a little more to get a better product.
