Extremely easy and quick to put together, took less than 5 minutes to assemble 2. Cats appear to like them. Small perch is tiny, not really suitable for a regular adult cat, but we have left it on as of course one of our kitties had to try it, if you have a smaller cat, it may be perfect. The top perch is quite roomy, fits our large 15lb cat. The faux fur is very thin, so we may pad that out at some point with something, cotton perhaps. It was able to be put together easily, it is a fairly generous size so even my very fat cat can enjoy it, and it looks nice. The only cons I would say are that there's not really any cushioning to be had in the bed area on top for the cat, and the small curved ledge between the two scratching posts is put together with a bolt that is visible on top of the carpet which doesn't seem to bother my cat but it's unsightly and might not feel very comfortable under your kitty. The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect size for my cat! It reaches the middle window in my dining room, so she can see outside. Now she sleeps on top of it, instead of the floor. She never liked a bed. I put her sweater on top , as she’s always slept on that; you may consider something like that until your cat gets use into it. My cat took to it right away though, which want expected, as she is very finicky. She uses the posts to sharpen her nails. It’s a great window perch for your cat! Also, this was such a cheap price compare to most. And it’s fairly large. I got the one with top platform with tray in the cream color. It’s perfect size and I see no need to buy a really large one.     • More sturdy than the old single posts perches! Nice Quality for Price. Looks Great.
I gave this a lot of stars because if you are familiar with cat perches, this is more sturdy than others. I used to buy the single sisal post perch and had hard time finding it online again. And single ones had a balance issue...so this one with two posts is much more stable. Fur/Fleece is nice. My only Complaint is that the hard rim frame of the top main bed was visibly broken! Upon opening, the fur was noticeably down on one side and when I felt it, I could feel a big plastic piece was broken. But it did not poke thru the fur, so I did not return it. I didn’t want to deal with another return. Hopefully the cats wont lay their head on that exact spot and hopefully the broken plastic won’t poke thru! ! The box was sturdy and not damaged at all. So I know it was broken because of the way it was packed (Or before it was boxed up). Their was no paper or pillows around the pieces. It was surprising and nice that the two sisal rope posts’ screws did have styrofoam balls over the screws. But the top bed that is plastic needs more protection. Even just a cardboard rim frame around it. I had no issue putting it together at all. The bottom scooped shape may not get used much if your cat is bigger or older. It’s small, but good for kittens and smaller cats, or a cat to sit on, The top bed/perch is big enough for most cats and they seem to like that right away, but didn’t stay on the little scoop perch below when I tried to put them in it.     • Top bed is big and sturdy enough for very large/overweight cat.
First of all, I would only buy this if it's on sale. The fabric material is cheap and thin, so you don't want to be dishing out top dollar as you might for real carpet. That said, the most important thing with this item is that the top bed is VERY sturdy and is probably large enough to support a 20+ lb cat, even. My guys range from 6-15 lbs, and even for my largest, he has room to spare. The lower scoop bed thing is a joke. That is for a kitten or for me to put my foot on while I watch TV.
