I needed a short extension cord to use at my computer desk to avoid extra tension on cords when I move the desk and such to clean. This worked perfect. Longer cords make an ugly mess and this gave me the exact length needed while keeping things clean and tidy.

    • Need a short multi-plug extension cord, that is well made - This is the one.
I needed a short multi-plug cord and ordered this. I am using it to power up 2 EA. - 110 volt to 2 EA. - USB power supplies, for a 2 EA. 5.2 volt pancake fan system I built. It is perfect. I didn't realize there would be 2 EA. cords in the package, I am happy there are. As for the folks that are worried about it not having a grounded plug, they are a little confused. That would only be needed if using it to power a metallic non-grounded unit or a wet environment. This is no different than any lite extension cord used in most applications (Fans or Lamps). As for length issues some have mentioned, knowing it is rated as 3 ft. long, if you needed 3 ft. or a tad more, then buy an extension cord that is longer. Trying to pull an extension cord to it max length to power anything is a bad idea and will put undue stress on the item being powered, the extension cord or your wall outlet. I recommend this for those who need a good sort extension cord that is well made. ... show more

My new cell phone charger came with a cord that was about a foot shorter than the old one (they are not compatible). I needed a short cord to make up the difference where I mounted the charger. I could have used a one foot cord, but this one fills the bill without a substantial amount of excess.

Several years ago, it seems companies stopped making 3 ft standard household cords. Shortest to be found was 4 ft. Was very happy to see the 3 ft cords here and order about a dozen over the past year, in the event they disappear again.
