This Barlow works wonderfully! I have the Tele Vue 2x "Big Barlow" which is several times more expensive, and I use this Alstar barlow more. It does need front focus extender tubes to work properly, and in my case I need ~50mm of back focus for the astrocam. I do mostly planetary imaging, and this has allowed me to capture stunning images of the 2 gas giants. Hope this helps, and keep looking up! ... show more
