Got this trailer and my husband had it put together fairly quickly. It is effective for the price. The frame is sturdy. However, there are a few obvious ways the design could be improved. The cover only goes on with Velcro, so your kid could get out if they manage to unbuckle themselves. My husband wants to see on some little clips, which will reinforce the cover a lot. They seat cannot recline, so if your kid starts to fall asleep their poor little head will just flop forward due to wearing a helmet and sitting so upright. I wish there was a way to add at least a little amount of recline. There are also no shocks, so you have to be mindful of bumps. That said, this trailer rides smooth. My husband attached it to our bike and pulled baby along while I ran a half marathon. She was comfy enough to fall asleep, but then we had to gerry-rig the straps the buckle her up while napping across the two seats so her head wouldn't flop. We were biking super slow (because I'm not a fast runner) so we weren't too worried about her in that position for the slow short term. The trailer ran smooth and was easy to pull. Once baby is a bit older and better with gentle hands, she and my elderly cavalier spaniel will be able to go on rides with me. We were also able to stash her diaper bag, some little toys, and some water bottles in the space behind the seats. I also wish it had some kind of sun shade, but for the price it works great ... show more

    • Nice trailer with some neat features
I had wanted a trailer for a while, I just picked this up for my 3.5 year old. I wish I had got one sooner. ASSEMBLY - pretty easy. The instructions that come with it have black and white photos which are a little dark. I suggest getting a PDF online, much clearer. The pins with built in lock are easy enough to use. The cover was a litle fiddly until I understood how it fits. The tires did smell a bit so you may not want this stored in your living space. JOGGER- We tried this first, it is easy to setup and rolls very smoothly. There is a wrist strap, I guess in case you biff it the stoller wont sail on without you. There are also parking brakes, which are simple straps that clip through the back wheels. Crude but effective. It does not have a steerable wheel, so you just have to deweight the front wheel a little then push it round a turn. Easy, but this is jogger not a stroller. TRAILER - there is a simple coupling that goes under the nut that holds the back wheel on your bike. The trailer clips to that, and there is a safety strap in case the main coupler comes mysteriously loose. It pulls reasonably easily - you certainly feel extra resistance on an unpaved trail - and it steers very nicely. TRUNK - There is a nice little storage area in the back. However I found this just opens into the main compartment so smaller items will roll under the seat and right where the little one can grab and devour them. OVERALL - Very good, I would but this again ... show more

Still enjoying this purchase. It's well made and good quality. The assembly instructions weren't the easiest to follow at some points but everything came together easily enough in a little over half an hour. The built in pockets and storage areas are great and the safety harnesses are quick to clip together. The stroller mode is also a really great option for a walk around the park. It especially adds some protection from the elements if needed as opposed to our regular stroller. Be sure to pump your tires for a smooth ride. Our two passengers combined weigh about 40lbs with the tallest under 3ft tall. It already looks like the tallest won't be able to fully extend their legs with the right growth spurt and there's a bit of a battle starting for shoulder room but there's still enough room to sit comfortably for a while. The trailer itself is built to last so we know we can use it until everyone's ready for their own bikes. The sturdiness of the pins that hold everything together are appreciated in terms of providing firm reassurance that the trailer won't be disconnected during your ride but be warned they can be difficult to disengage in order to switch to stroller, remove the hitch, or fold away. ... show more

This item was easy to install on a bike, came with minimal instructions to put together, and it even came with a little orange flag for safety if riding in a busier area. My kids have a good amount of leg room and can still put their feet out if they want to stretch. There is a cover for inclement weather and works great on a cool fall day. Just add a blanket and they stay cozy in their little kid trailer. Highly recommended for active families ... show more
