  • Worth it if you do soft gel at home
I used to think the cheap battery nail drill was great until I bought this. Blows the other out of the water. If you do soft gel at home this is so worth it, will make it 100x easier. Just be careful because it is powerful and you can really file down your nails too much if you get carried away. Even the lowest setting can still be strong with certain drill tips attached. I like the variety you get for the tips but they do wear down and stop being as effective over time. I think that’s inevitable though with any brand. It seems to have a pretty generic way of attaching them though and Amazon sells a lot of cheap drill bits you can surely buy. You get so many with this drill though it would take a while to get to that point though. Be aware that you will need to plug this in to a wall outlet to use it, the cord is fairly long. Only thing I’m not crazy about is the on/off switch. It’s a toggle switch where “off “ is the middle position, and moving it to either side will turn the drill “on” and spin in that direction. It can be tricky to get back to “off” and I often end up making it spin in opposite directions til I get it to turn off. The speed setting is a scrolly wheel next to the toggle switch. It can go really high. This is a great low cost drill that feels professional quality. EDIT: so just short of one year later the cord has developed an issue and the drill will not work unless it’s at a certain angle. I have not quite figured out what that angle actually is, so it’s essentially now useless. It was a good drill if you’re used to those cheap battery ones from Walmart, but I have since replaced this drill with another that was only slight more expensive. Now I highly recommend getting a drill with a locking mechanism for the bit. I thought some vibration from the bit was normal like I experienced with the drill this review is for. But the locking mechanism feature rids you of all that. This was drill wasn’t bad, but there’s better out there. If you do buy this drill though make sure to only get the shorter style bits. The longer ones will make the vibration even worse since it doesn’t lock the bit down. ... show more

  • Affordable Powerhouse
After purchasing a UV light and trying, very unsuccessfully, to remove my gel nails with acetone, I decided to buy an eFile. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I wasn't sure how committed I was to doing my own nails. I chose this file because of its affordability, the variety of attachments it comes with, and the fact that it's electric instead of using batteries. I'm very pleased with how this file performs; it's powerful, and being able to control the speed and rotation direction has been a lifesaver. I mostly use the sandpaper and metal attachments, and I haven't really used the others, but that's just my preference. I like that the file and all the attachments neatly fit in my nail care bag without taking up too much space. Beginners should use this file carefully, as it's powerful and easy to hurt yourself. Even now, I still use it at the lowest setting, and it's more than enough to remove my UV-cured nail polish. ... show more

  • Power
Color: Gold
This product has a lot of power when used on high. Please use caution. Other than that, works great.

  • This one is more than worth the money
I have never used a manicure drill before but found this one very user friendly, reliable, strong and it came with instructions as well as explanations of the different bits and their uses. I read many reviews before purchasing this one and am more than happy with the purchase!

  • defective product?
Okay, I’m going to be real honest here. I bought a nail drill for my aunt and I. Product arrived on time and we’ll packaged. The drill works good but I did notice just one thing that could have made this 5 star review..I noticed that my aunts nail drill speed setting goes down to the slowest or slowest which is good because you wanna be able to control the speed to your liking right ? However mine, even at the lowest setting it still goes pretty fast. Not sure why mine does that or maybe it’s just defective but I’m still disappointed about that. Other wise decent product. ... show more

  • This little drill is perfect!
I wanted an e file, and originally tried out the $40 drill that comes with the portable battery pack which was nice. But I ended up buying this more affordable file and it works just as good. The cord is fairly long. I just used a small extension cord so I can sit at my table and do my nails easily. I actually like that I don’t have to charge it like the other one. It’s got more than enough power to remove gel polish and to file down polygon nails ... show more
