I have purchased this resin on several occasions and it always works well. It mixes easily (I heat each part separately in a cup of hot water before mixing) and doesn’t produce a lot of bubbles. It doesn’t not have a super strong smell compared to some but it isn’t odorless. Projects cure very clear and solid. Overall, for the price this is definitely one of my go brands. ... show more

I'm in the process of making a bottlecap tabletop and I needed to order some more epoxy. My usual brand is Environtex Pour-on, bc i usually purchase from the craft stores...but with how much epoxy that i've already used (6 boxes), i had to try a cheaper, different option. So I decided to stray from my comfort zone and purchase an unknown. 1st off, i loved all the little extra freebies!! 2nd, i read the pamphlet that came with it, and there was no directions!! Can you beleive that?! Just suggested "tips." So i used the directions from my normal epoxy. Im a rule follower, so i needed direction. Anyways, i mixed enough for my flood coat, MY FINAL/TOP COAT.....and it is a disaster!! 1. Its cloudy in some spots. 2. It created a ripple effect in some spots. I was expecting to be finished today, and now i have SO0O0O0 much sanding to do in order to try again. But 1st i'll need to purchase another gallon of epoxy. Ugghhhh....should i go with the expensive brand that i know or go with a cheaper, unknown brand online?!! I truley am disappointed. I followed all suggested tips that applied, and it couldnt have went worse....at the most important time of my almost finished tabletop order. ... show more

I've been using this resin mixture for months now. 95% of the time my pours are bubble free. I do use a heat gun for all of my molds. It's very easy to mix, just add your resin with same measurment of hardener and mix well.
