So far this unit has proved to be accurate as it has been holding the correct temperature and humidity without any fuss. Ran it dry for 24 hours and it was truly plug and play ready right out of the box. Just add fertile hatching eggs and water. Ours is currently incubating 30 Marans eggs which are going into lockdown in another 24 hours and should hatch out in the next 5 days. This unit appears to be strikingly similar to the maticoopx that was all the rage on the Internet a while back. This incubator is amazing so far. It has the brightest candler that I have ever used, it works with the lights on! I like that it is deep, so chicks cannot fall out when removing them when lid is open. Temo and humidity are accurate. I just set 30 eggs, will update after hatch!

Just received the Natrunetic today. It’s very, very similar to the MaticoopX. Likely made in the same factory. It is actually calibrated slightly better, and so far is holding temp and humidity steady. Going to place eggs in it tomorrow. Any accessories, dividers, or turner motor covers for the MaticoopX will fit into the Natrunetic. I’m not expecting any surprises and think this will be a quality cheaper option for an incubator. ... show more

    • Won't hold steady humidity
This incubator will NOT hold steady humidity. Fluctuates from 40% to 60% on its own. Temp holds very steady. Egg turner works great. Looks almost identical to the Maticoopx. I have both and prefer the Maticoopx.

    • Much better than my first incubator!
The first incubator I ever had was bought from one of those comic books offerings more than 40 years ago! I thing I paid about $10 for one that you could barely fit 4 eggs, looked like a "flying saucer" with one tiny heating lamp, so cheaply made that I dumped it in the trash...I ended up building one out of a big cardboard box, a big heating lamp and a piece of glass to look through. My hatch rate was over 90% even though the only readings I had was the temperature from a stick thermometer (for humidity I always kept a small bowl with water but no tool to measure)! My point is that while this particular model keeps temperature but probably not humidity within the required parameters (according to the readings), it may still be efficient. I love it's compact size and the option of just setting a bottle of water and refill only when needed. It is quite easy to use, but performance, accuracy and hatch rate go hand in hand, therefore a final judgment can't be given until after the first batch. This is a perfect incubator for a small project, or just for fun with the kids learning the process. ... show more

We hatched out our first round of eggs and I was rather pleased at the amount of space the chicks ended up having to move around and stand as they dried. I am having a bit of a hard time keeping the humidity down though, as it likes to spike randomly even without the water bottle on.
