Solid stainless steel construction makes quick work of fence "stapling." What I like best is that the fastener is just as easily removed, should the need arise. Can't do that with an ordinary fence staple!

I use these type of fasteners all the time when installing welded wire fencing. Pros: 1. Better hold than galvanized staples. 2. Reusable and easy to install and remove with bit. 3. Longer screw length than some others that I have used.

These are well made, they do have a little bit of a learning curve. You have to get used to holding and installing a certain way, once you do a couple, you love these! They made quick work of my goat pen.

    • No need for a staple gun, Great Value for 304 Steel Fasteners

I received a large, heavy lot of U-shaped steel (Stainless Steel 304 anti-rust) fasteners with equal number of screws and a hex-adapter. It’s an excellent value and should work well for our large project (chicken coop). We used about #20 of these sets on our outdoor brooder using wood and chicken wire. The area under each fastener covers 1.4” x 1” of chicken wire which is adequate. These work better than traditional staples in my opinion. And if you mess up or decide to make changes on an existing project, they can easily be removed and reused. (We have #180 left; plenty for our bigger project). Some information on 304 steel: although 304 stainless steel can corrode, it will not rust in normal atmospheric conditions. Corrosion can occur under more aggressive environments especially if the composition of the steel contains impurities. We live in a low humidity, extremely hot environment so only time will tell on how well these hold up. ... show more

Had to install some cattle panel fencing around my chicken coop to predator proof for winter, but I really didn't want to buy a fence staple, this is an excellent option. It does take a bit of work, but it does get the job done seems to hold the fence very well. I also did this for hardware cloth and the best part for this is that it is less likely to break the hardware cloth wires compared to my crown stapler.
