My father has a lift on the back of his car for a scooter. The medical versions of these were like $400. These worked just as well and give zero issues so far and they get plenty of use and installed insanely easy on the model of lift he has. Don’t use it for his scooter which already fits perfectly but for a power wheelchair that otherwise wouldn’t. Have the wheelchair modified with 2 loops coming off the back of the handles that these 2 hook into and tighten while the thing that comes down on the lift to hold the scooter in place comes down perfectly on the foot rest of the wheelchair. Holds it down nice and firm so it doesn’t move at all and is easy to use and remove. Definitely worth the price. ... show more

I needed straps to connect the back of my boat to the trailer. The boat is frequently launched in saltwater so the issue of corrosion is more important than usual. Since all metal parts are stainless steel, there should be minimal risk. I selected these straps in particular primarily because of the auto-retraction feature. A single button press taking up all the slack is much more efficient than ratcheting up over a foot of strap an inch or so at a time! ... show more

I mounted a pair on my battery-operated mobility scooter lift to secure the scooter during transport. The OEM device got in the way and did not hold securely, so I removed it and installed these; they are the PERFECT answer. Simple, easy install. In addition to the advertised advantage of not having loose straps to keep track of, I enjoy a second advantage. I can't stay bent over for more than a few seconds, so using loose/regular straps is a problem. These solve that problem with their quick release to pull out from storage position and quick pullback into it. They have been in the weather for probably half or more of the time since purchase and there has been no effect on performance. I did not use the included bolts as they were too long for my use, so I just used "spares" in my "inventory." Overall great purchase that serves me well. ... show more

I normally buy Cargo Buckle tie down straps due to their high quality but I have used this brand before in a different style and they seemed to be decent quality. These are a bolt on design. The overall quality of the straps are decent. What is a very poor design is the location of the mounting hole. It is located directly under the ratchet mechanism make it very difficult to use a wrench to tighten the bolt. This design made what should have been a very quick job a rather time consuming and unnecessarily difficult one. Had I been installing these on a trailer I will be using routinely, I would have sent them back, again not because of the quality of function simply because of the mounting design. ... show more

Used for a boat transom tie down. Holes in the trailer frame made it convenient to mount, although had to buy longer bolts. Would purchase again or recommend. Would like to use on my 22’ boat but no mounting holes on trailer readily available.

These are more secure than the double S hooks style and safe so much time as you don’t have to put them away or look for them or adjust how they look through a buckle system.
