Update: now that I have had them for a while. They tear the page or pull paper off when you remove them. They are great as long as you don't need to move them. I really like these. They are so useful. They are more plastic than paper so does not work with every pen style. Definitely not gel pens. But are great if you want to write notes on something with thin paper or need to be able to read original text. I use them in my bible.     • Work with erasable pens, smudges easily
I borrowed some textbooks from a friend and wanted to be able to write in them temporarily. These allow me to do that! I chose this set because it has different sizes including larger sticky notes. I primarily use the Pilot Frixion erasable pens and the pens write AND erase easily on these. Downside is, because they are clear, they have a bit of a sheen and plastic-feel so pens (at least my erasable ones) do not dry down very fast and therefore smudge easily. The transparency is not completely clear but it does not hinder reading the textbook page underneath whatsoever. It’s like a frosted plastic material so when trying to write with regular marker it smudges but other then that it’s really good

Everything smears on these sticky notes otherwise they are really nice. Get some sharpies and let it dry before closing the book. They are sticky but come off easy and Very transparent!
