I had a 14” memory foam nectar mattress and it had to be replaced but I didn’t want to spend the money to buy a new expensive king size mattress. My kids have this in a twin and they’re comfy, I’ve definitely fallen asleep and enjoyed the nap…plus for about $400 for a king bed you can’t beat it. It is obviously lower than a 14” mattress but fits without looking odd in the king bed frame we have. It’s very comfortable and I don’t feel like I got in a car wreck every morning. One negative I guess is king sheets are mildly baggy on it. If you need a mattress for only about $400, this is definitely gonna be a good buy. ... show more

I only read the one-star reviews to brace myself for what could go wrong. Because perhaps I'd get one of 5% that did not meet the quality test. (There are always duds and mistakes in assembly lines). Then I prayed. I unpacked it. No funky smell whatsoever! One complaint escaped! I planned on giving it 24 hours to fully inflate. In less than 6 hours it looked normal. with all four corners inflated. Another complaint escaped. I squeezed it in various places to test firmness. this is where I got worried as it gave in A LOT. I just didn't seem that the foam was dense enough. I do prefer it on the firmer side for how I sleep. Next I layed down on it and was pleasantly surprised. i did not collapse the way it did when pressing on it with one's fist. I slept on it the same day I received it. I noticed that I did sink in considerably, but the mattress would re-inflate when I moved to a different part of it. (I ordered the queen size.) I figured it wasn't bad for less than $200 and I could probably live with the softness. Then I had the idea to turn it upside down. I knew the mattress used different layers, with the softer ones on top and the more inexpensive and harder layers on the bottom. I thought perhaps it would be too hard, but no. IT'S PERFECT NOW!!! Obviously it's a cheap mattress, so I don't expect it to last more than 18-24 months. But i'm okay with that. ... show more

8 inch mattress, only inflated to 6 inches. Thought it would get better. Experience with the mattress had gotten worse and my back is hurting really bad. And now I cannot return it because it’s over 100 days. I have no idea why there were so many good reviews for this awful mattress. **UPDATE: It got better after I bought a Bunkie board. I had a platform frame that I thought would work, but even if you have less than 5 inches space bw each spacer, it's still too much. Now it's a serviceable mattress. But they should really let you know when you buy the mattress, so I give it a 3-4, mostly for the price. ... show more
